Judging interest in a Rack & Pinion kit

I need to find out how many people would be interested in a first gen Rack & Pinion kit? It would be modeled off of "The other kit". I don't know how much it would cost until I have my machine shop make up drawings, but I know it would be in the $1000 + shipping. The buyer would need to supply the rack.

I'm not making any promises yet. This is just to judge interest.

Looks like we have enough interest in the R & P. After I get the BBK sent out this will be the next project.

You might be able to get a hold of Billy since he was the first to have the kit made. If you get with him you don't have to deal with the people who currently own "The Other Shop".

don't think billy will be able to provide drawing, etc., possibly advice. I would assume that Sam bought the rights.

I would never ask Billy for something like this. It's just bad business. I have something in the works and a couple of people are on board. After the current BBK have been delivered I can give more details.

1st Gen R&P

I definitely would be in, has any additional progress been made on its development since the question was first raised.

I would gladly pay $1500 to $2000 for a well made working version of this kit. I'm so tired of having a sports car that steers like a truck lol.
