Vacuum Lines

Ok, I have started the intake upgrade process. I will be ordering a new intake for a Holley 4bbl 500 CFM carb and I have removed the old carb and intake. There were so many vacuum lines on this thing and I saw one picture (not a very good one) where it looked like the vacuum relays that sit in the center of the block have been removed. What I am looking for is either a top picture of a 12A with a new intake and carb setup or specfic routes of the vacuum lines with the new intake setup. If you provide me both then I will forever in be in your debt. Many thanks from the newbie.

Oh yeah. This is on a 1980 RX7 with a 12A motor and a manual tranny.

A Haynes manual will show all that stuff. If you are going with an aftermarket carb, there may not be as many connections for emission control stuff on it. Most people get rid of the emission control solenoids and hoses. It set off the check engine light, but to get rid of the airpump and all the emission stuff, you need to get an aftermarket exhaust from somewhere like Racing beat. The air pump pumps cold air into the exhaust system to help reduce emissions. Every thing is based on that. Remove the exhaust, and you can ditch all the other useless stuff. If you ditch the emission stuff first, you will overheat the exhaust pipes and clog up the cats and all sorts of other weird stuff.

1. I have removed the smog pump and the other lines. Will this be like a piston engine where I will just need to run a hose from the oil fill tube to air filter or can that be plugged to?

2. Also, The book shows a vacuum relay for the A/C, but if I remove the A/C relay will that cause a problem or can I just make a jumper wire for it?
