racing beat universal mufflers

Has anyone used the racing beat universal mufflers? With all the low quality parts being sold nowadays, its hard to trust the quality of parts. I really like the sound muffling on my old school racing beat catback exhaust, but im wondering if these universal mufflers are the same mufflers sold with their kits.

My buddy is looking to get a custom exhaust on his car, and I am trying to think of muffler options. Anyone have any other ideas besides racing beat or magnaflow? I am thinking about fabricating his exhaust on a 2011 mini cooper turbo. All the options on cat back exhaust systems for his car are $800+. Im trying to see if I can make him a nice 3" 304 stainless tig welded one for that price at the most with a main muffler and a resonator

so the current RB mufflers are made in house by them, and are quite good.

depending on which turbo back you have, it may have been made in Japan, or it may have been made in the USA. if yours is 80mm pipe, in mild steel, its Japanese. if its 70mm pipe in stainless, its US made

I'm currently using a racingbeat universal muffler. I didn't want to use anything smaller than 3 inches for my turbo setup on my FB. I am happy with the quality of the product and it really makes the car sound smooth with a quality rotary sound.

my exhaust is mild steel with a coating on it. I bought the car with the exhaust already on the car, so Im not sure the exact exhaust it is, but form looking at the tips, the exhaust does not look overly aggressive, which I like. I never measured the piping, but it looks like 3" that splits into 2x 2.25", not very big.

is it chrome or black? virtually every company that has made an exhaust for the FC has made a turbo back, HKS and GReddy had turbo backs that look a lot like the RB

Heres a video of my Single 3" Turbo back, catless, with RB Universal Presilencer and Muffler. Super Quiet.

It must have been black many years ago. It's a racing beat, it says it on the mufflers and RB on the tps.

Hmmm, that single muffler is quiet, I may consist that in the future for weight savings and better flow. I wish racing beat made 3.5" mufflers. Anyone know amy other companies that make quiet mufflers that come in 3.5" inlet and outlet
