No boost after 4500RPM

Hello,

The car regarding this problem is a '96 RX-7 Chuki with 178K km on it or 110K miles that I've imported a few months ago.

As the title says, I have 0.69bar boost but as soon as the secondary turbo has to spin at 4500rpm, the boost just drops to 0 and never comes up again.

Also, I've noticed that the bottom of my engine is all greasy and the turbo has some tiny oil splats on it, aswell as the intercooler.

All the hoses in the rat's nest have been changed to blue aftermarket hoses.

Any ideas?

Thanks

check the couplers on all the turbo charge pipes, particularly the one right off the Y pipe.

you could have a shop perform a fog/smoke test, to comepletely rule out boost leaks, then its time to check the turbo shaftplay.

a quick visual inspection of the couplers usually won't cut it, sometimes removing the Y pipe coupler will show a tear on the backside.

There is no coupler inbetween the y-pipe and the crossover tube, it's attached like this:
