I have a 1987 RX7 S4 GXL with a not working temperature sensor in the radiator. Being a novice put the battery in backwards after working on it. After 3 months of searching and gathering money, I found a new ECU and a n aftermarket temp sensor leadign directly to a guage. i put both in and the car will crank but not start. I have also checked the main fuse and it looks good. are there any suggestions as to a next course of action? thank you for any help you can give.

Just look for the basics (spark, fuel, compression, all plugs are plugged in, vacuum lines hooked up, etc). If you find you dont have one of those, let us know. But if all of those are fine and dandy, make sure you have enough fuel making it past the fuel filter because it can get clogged with gunk from your gas tank from time to time. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the advice. I just got new plugs and still not firing, I also put in a new grounding wire just in case. I will try checking on the fuel filter. Maybe it got clogged while sitting. If there is anything else you can think of, please let me know, and thanks again
