I dont' think this is the right place for this, this is rotary ENGINE tech, but first, double check your wiring. Keep in mind the diagram may be wrong. I had a sony whose diagram was mislabled.
Next, find the + and - power wires on the pioneer while its outside the vehicle and hook it directly up to a battery, but include the proper size fuze in the circut, unless you're not really worried about it. (Solder a wire on each blade of the fuse and use that as one wire, doesn't matter whether its + or-) If it comes on, the problem is not in the radio.
Check for 12 volts at the corresponding leads in the dash with the key on. If 12 V is not present, check wiring.
If 12V is good in the dash, connect only power and ground wires to radio. If it comes on, turn off key, and complete wiring.
If your radio does not work then, disconnect wires until it does work again.
