Gt35 ATP T4 1.06 ex housing
Any experience with ATP 1.06 T4 ex housing with gt35r?
I think that is quite restrictive at 7000rpms
Ex T skyrocket and the car dont pull hard
Goes from 300whp at 6500 to 200ish at 7100
Its and fd3s street ported
3" free flow exhaust

At 7-8 psi
No pressure drop
When i get hier boost it got worst
More power but more stall at 7000
I tought that was the intake throttle body so im portingit bigger
At 10psi the drop is worst an so on
If i got more timming temperature drops but start knocking
And power wise simce to solve just a tinny bit the issue
Its runs really good till 7000rpms
Kind of a problem that its driving me crazy
Change the spark plugs for colder and its the same
Made data logging of the rpms and the reading looks fine so the triggers lecture its fine
I got a brand new Tial 60mm wastegate also

right, so instead of looking for the problem you're gonna start porting things, gg.
try checking your leading ignition and timing, plugged/improper air filter and for possible other restrictions.the problem isn't anything in stock form in your intake after the throttle body elbow or your turbo/manifold. as long as your engine isn't running on just one rotor then the engine shouldn't be the issue either.

Ok I will Im using as i remember 10 to 12 degree of timming split I dont know were is the safe zone but could be the problem I think that the split increase from 10 to 12 at 7000 rpm I will try to post a photo with the split map later

I will get back t my car on the 20th of december , now I'm in Finland and she is on South America How can i check if the Triling is cutting at hi revs? I post some Dyno chart from virtual Dyno so you can have a more clear pic of whats going on I love how the turbo pulls and its so smooth , just this "little issue" thats bothers me so much Otherwise thebturbo setup is beatiful By the way is a Gt35r hta 86 with atp exhaust housing 1.06 t4 When i change from 4th to 5th , changing gears at 6800 the cars dies , and if I can shift at 7500 or 7800 will be a completely different animal I change the rear diff to 4.444 and its awesome also!!
Boost scale on the chart is wrong
Max 13 psi
And the whp also
But the power curve its the iportant fact and the aur fuel ratios

nothing stands out on the dyno graph, to check ignition you would need to hook up a timing light to the ignition wires and do a few runs on the dyno to see if the spark is becoming erratic or dropping out completely. the leading ignition is the most important which is the bottom plugs. if leading ignition is dropping then you will lose nearly 50% of your power.
i have also seen air filters cause major restrictions, like say if you have a element sandwiched between screens onto the nose of the turbo inlet, that is very restrictive. you may have something else in the intake, like a rag that wasn't removed that got pushed into the intercooler or something similar to that. measure the boost pressure off the turbo compressor outlet and at your map sensor and compare for a intercooler pressure drop indicating a restriction somewhere.
if your exhaust has a baffle or silencer, remove it.

if your exh temps are going thru the roof, that means you are burning fuel in the exhaust... check your fuel maps, are your injectors staged, if they are, are they coming on when the EX temps go up?
what do your correction maps look like ( air temp, Battery voltage, coolant temp)????
do you have any limiters set, fuel cut, timing cut????
if your maps are all good, then your back to trouble shooting components, like Ben said, do you have erratic spark? any vacuum leaks?
It's not going to be the size of the throttle body, Ive seen 600 rwhp on a stock TB

Well there is no cut on the ECU
No ign cut no fuel cut
At 6psi it does not feel that bad but at 10+ the power drop is lots after 7000rpms
Till 6800 it pulls really good and smoth
No ign problem
Its just loose power
I took lots of fuel out after 7000rpms
Must be some air choking
It can be the air filter
But i will try the car meaby on monday and then try a small run with out air filter to know if its there the problem
The exhaust is free flow 3"
Meaby i can insert a camera into the exhaust to check it anyways
I thought also that meaby cause the compressor wheel is so big it give me this troubble
I also install a 60mm Tial wastegate , and double check it , no problems there

Ok just drove the car
At 6.8 psi of boost no drama till 8000rpms
The exhaust temp drop lots from 7000 to 8000
And it feels better
I need to check if is the same with more boost
But so far so good
Also check the exhaust and it looks ok
Meaby also i can advance the ignition at more boost

Ok
Exhaust temperature is way lower
The car runs faster more torque
So there was an improovent there
No power drop at 7000rpms but i have misfire at 7500 so i need to buy better and more power coils and probably new sparkplugs
Just miss up with the extra fuel that i need between shift
It when to lean everytime i shift
So im playing with the delta load extra fuel to fix that

Ok seems to be my lucky day
I was installing my new mercury direct fire coils and i found this
One leadind spak plug with a compleatly different wear than the other
Then i found that the leading coil one of the output was with rust
So im betting that was the loose of power at the 7000rpms
