the turbine wheel got slightly dinged and i need to get it replaced and rebalanced. the bearings are perfect. would you give me a suggestion please.
one other item while the turbo is down is the 4 inch to 3 inch reducer. an item came w the turbo and is on the downpipe but it is very restrictive. Luke, my tuner guy saw a slick reducer at PRI that was part of the BW exhibit. it is my intention to replace the reducer we are currently running. if you have any idea here please LMK.
as you may know we did get an initial dyno on the S300. unfortunately we lost a primary diffuser thru the engine just when things were getting good. combine that w ceramic apex seals and alot of the motor is junk. no problem, i have lots of pieces so the rebuild will be ready in 2 weeks.
we made 514 SAE at 24.2 average boost... we had 500 from 65 to 8500 w a small dip in the middle all AFR (rich) related. i think we will do 550 properly tuned at 26 psi.
