Hey everyone. hope to fit in here well, i just bought my first project car, 1988 Rx7. I got a hell of a deal too! $1500 Canadian for it, few things that needs done such as fixing the parking break (no resistance, i tightened the cable and it did nothing) some indicator bulbs, and a break bleed. (also has some rust but nothing that wont cause inspection to fail). Any tips as a first time owner? Should i premix with 2 stroke oil even with a working OMP?

Hey RX 7 people,

My name is Wawa and I�m in nyc. I�ve been kind of obsessed with the RX7 FC since I found out about it (which embarrassingly was like 2 years ago) but I am now actively saving and searching for a S5 to call my own. I�ve even ordered the RX 7 FC Manuel and plan to get more familiar with the ins and outs of the car as I save.

i grew up in Southern California and while I�ve always been interested in cars I wouldn�t call myself a car guy but I honestly can�t take my mind off this car. I am constantly searching on FB marketplace for the right one, I am trying to aggressively save as much as I can to obtain one and right now I�m at about 10k in savings. I have a bit further to go but I�ve got my eye on the prize and hope to be in this forum with you all asking questions and finding solutions and sharing my own experiences with my own S5 FC in the future.

Hi everyone! Just thought I�d post something here since I�ve been lurking for a bit and decided to make an account! My name�s Alex, and I�m completely new to not only the RX-7, but just having a fun car in general! (I�ve only ever owned normal suv daily drivers.) My husband and I just recently picked up a 1993 rx-7 off of Facebook marketplace, and are super excited to get it running again after about 6 or so years of sitting. Any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated! Also attaching a picture for anyone who�s interested : )

Hey everyone,Just wanted to introduce myself � I'm from South Carolina and I�ve been lurking on the forum for a little while now. I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a 99 RX-7 a couple weeks ago. Still can�t believe it�s actually mine!It�s a clean example but definitely needs some love (as most FD�s do). I�m really looking forward to learning from you guys, getting it sorted out, and eventually building it the right way. I�ve been reading through a ton of threads already and this place has been an awesome resource.Super excited to be part of the community and looking forward to sharing the journey with y�all.Thanks!

Proud/sad owner of a 91 TII large streetport with a haltech and other goodies that has been sitting for 7 years since I bought it and blew it up. Going to be posting my build as i go. Ive got a few paths to go down but im sure WE will figure it out. Thank you all for your knowledge and experience, I will gladly use all advice.

Originally an NA chassis and the seller did a full TII swap except the diff. Going for a 400ish hp build for drifting/cool weekend car. Engine is currently taken apart and I am trying to decide which route to go. When I bought it I drove it for two days and never checked the basic stuff. Moral of the story I was at the top of 4th and my turbo was starved of oil and my compressor decided to take a tour of my motor.

I also have another '91 NA that I plan on stealing housings from for my TII. Im either going to go broke making a dowelled high compression low boost motor with the NA rotors and pray for good fuel and solid tuning, orrrrrrrrrr go broke making another TII with new rotors. Either way Im getting a new turbo and overhauling the fuel system. Excited to share the journey but my wallet and girlfriend are already mad. But who isnt?

Hello rotary people! I just recently purchased an '84 RX-7 GSL and cant wait to be part of the rotary community! Although I have some rotary and automotive knowledge already, I know that I have much to learn about these cars and would love to learn from everyone here! I personally work in the automotive industry designing and producing aftermarket parts, and really look forward to applying my skills to RX-7s!

Attached is a picture of my RX-7, she's been a real project but also lots of fun. The engine I purchased the car with was seized, so the first thing me and a friend did was throw a whole new 12A in!

I really look forward to being a part of this awesome community!
