We've been taken for a ride!
It's been over five months since we paid FDNewbie, he does not respond to posts, he does not respond to PMs, he does not respond to email!!!!!
Ramy Nasr of FDNewbie has no intension of filling our orders, he took our money and ran to Florida, and none of us will ever see our $500.00 or the RX-7 rear seats. Collectively that's $3,000.00 of our money.
FDNewbie has taken us for a long and expensive $500.00 ride, I say enough is enough.
We keep on getting ignored!!!

Man.... Obviously your a newbie when it comes to these things. His GB always takes forever, for quite a few reasons. When people sign up, they flake out of the GB. They take forever to pay the money.
Lets see, he takes 20 years to respond to GB's. Lately its gotten worse because apparently his friend bluerex? or however you spell his forum name isn't helping out ramy anymore with the GB's. So its just him.
Ramy will make excuses hes in medical school, hes busy. I"m sure there are 2 sides to this story. This thread will get deleted or locked.

LOL. I understand your frustration. However, just about everybody on this forum knows that ordering through Ramy takes time. It's an unwritten caveat. He will give you the best prices and will find the rarest parts, but you have to be willing to wait. If you are impatient, or feel the rarity (or lack thereof) of the parts isn't worth the wait, then it's best that you go elsewhere.
Also, I've never heard of Ramy screwing anyone over, so I'm sure he'll get you your seats or give you a refund.

ramy has not taken your money and ran. i've left money with him for over a year and the results have been to my satisfaction.
selling parts isn't his entire life..he's trying to get thru medschool and has things like exams and **** to deal with, not to mention clinic work.
he's the LAST person on the forum who would screw someone over. he'll get back to you with parts or give you your money back.
like everyone else said...ramy has to source these things singlehandedly from a country with a 12 hr time difference. delays are expected.

How long would you wait for an answer? 5 months, 12 months 2 years? before taking action?
He is not responding to me or the other 5 GB buyers, that's not good business.
Please do not prejudge based on what you see and read on this bulletin board since it is not all conclusive. Emails have not been posted, nor PMs, etc.
We've given him ample time to respond and react to this GB, to no avail.
What's next?

Ramy is one of the most respected members of the forum and would never steal from anyone. I am amused that you think $3000 is a hefty sum of money. Trust me, a $3000 order is only a small drop in the bucket compared to what some individuals will pay for rare, mint condition parts.
Yes Ramy has relocated to Florida. I would very much like to see you go through medical school to become a surgeon while also attempting to run a fairly large and time consuming business such as his by yourself. It is a well known fact that Ramy takes time to fill orders but it is because he has priorities in order. School and medical training come first, and he spends every remaining hour dedicated to his business. While he may not have all the time in the world like you, I'll bet he works harder everyday than you have at any point yet in your life.

Ramy's markup is minimal, the work he does is a great service to this community. I understand your frustrations but now that BlueRex has left it is a 1 man show with many group buys and orders to organize, place, pack, ship, etc. I alerted him regarding this thread, everyone please be patient.

I would like to apologize to 93RX7-europa and Ramy for my inappropriate post above, but when jail time is threatened to one of my good friends it is not something I take lightly, especially when it is the first thing I read in the morning!
I have spoken to 93RX7-europa privately and we have resolved our issues. I unfortunately do not have any control over the FDNewbie business (besides the Oil Cooler group buy) but have made Ramy aware of the situation on his forum.
Please keep the posts regarding this to a minimum until Ramy is able to answer your questions.

yeah i dont know how he manages his business but he lags like no other and communication slower than the pony express. i was part of his 99 spec group buy and i got my bumper after a year and still not received my oil cooler ducts or my $200 refund for shipping. i tried contacting him but he only seems to reply when you try to order more parts.

Granted 5 months is a good amount of time, I doubt Ramy would even think about running off with your money. I have purchased a few things from Ramy and waited a good amount of time w/o any communication from him.
Ramy is a good dude and these GBs probably are just pocket change for him.
Most of the parts Ramy offers are very hard to find and with that in mind, are priced very reasonably. Although I agree Ramy is running a business.. so if you can't wait for such parts/prices, I think that FDNewbie Imports should offer a refund. Or maybe Ramy & team could keep up a little better with the customer communication. Since Ramy is busy, maybe he could hand off the company to someone else for now.
But blasting Ramy across the forum is just going to **** him off and take away opportunity for such parts for all of us.
