Hey guys, need help with installing the Unit, but there is lack of full detail i need for the install within the forum...

This is for all those that have installed their own units or done it for someone else...

As i stated in the post, i am in the process of installing the unit myself...

I have the 6 cylinder version...

My questions are:

1. Where is the wire for the clutch shift? My unit did not come supplied with the wire...is it something i have to plug into the main harness? And also, which wire color on the clutch switch did you connect the thing to...(not sure if there is 1 or more wires...have not looked at it yet)

2. I dont have the A/C anymore in my car...will the hook up to the condenser still work as power on?

3. What main fused power wire (location/color) did you hook up the unit to? (its not suppose to go to ground during cranking)

4. Lastly...Does it matter which injector goes to which color wire...i know they have to stay the same (red with red/black) for in and out as well, but how does the user know which wire from RLTC knows which unit it corresponds to in terms of color of the factory/injector? I know it does not matter with the ABS wires as the diagnostic procedure will make the unit figure out which wheel sensor is which...but not sure of the Fuel...

Thanks...

I never did receive this.

Max_Spd: I dunno the answer to your question as I have not even got to take both of my units out of the boxes to install them yet. But, please do come back here and give us your views on the system once you have it working.

I was thinking, how well would my racelogic work when I install methanol auxiliary injection? It won't control that.

I had the same thoughts and concerns. That is why I am going with a full custom meth setup. I'll be using two fuel injectors mounted in the primary location that will be pumped with meth and will receive the same signal as my secondary injectors. I ended up sizing my meth injectors to be 750cc. I got an Xcessive LIM to mount my gas primaries.

The meth setup will have a 4 gallon cell in the hatch area ran with SS hard lines, meth compatible filters, pump, and FPR. I've got everything to do the full setup, but I cracked a couple corner seals on my motor and I'm letting my motor builder take his time with the rebuild. So, in the meantime, I hope to get most of the meth install done and finish everything up when I reinstall the motor. Probably won't be running until early next year but I'm hoping for good results and I'll have piece of mind knowing that the meth will be cut out at the same time as the gas.
