I have also seen these in person and they are a great improvement over the break-prone stock units. Very solid and well constructed.

I am in if we get it below $300 shipped in the continental US. I've already bought the headlights, still need to sell an engagement ring to afford the tail-lights. lol

Low 300's is if we make nearly 100 handles . We're planning on buying however many extra we need to keep the price there, but it's definitely not going to get any cheaper. With shipping and paypal wrapped in, the GB price will be about $325, and +$10 for 93 (smooth) finish). If this was for a civic and we were having these made in the thousands instead of 10's, it would be a different story. Low volume production is plain old expensive.

Again, I wish we could do better but it came down to either a high price or the part not existing. Dan and I spent a lot of time deciding if we would take the risk or not, and ultimately decided that if we even break even we'll be happy (and be able to close our doors ) . We most likely will be losing a lot of money on this project unfortunately. Like I've said before, we're not business people, we're FD enthusiasts, and it was more important to simply get these handles made once and for all.

To everyone interested:
We do realize these are not cheap, and it's just a lump of metal . But, when considering the cost, we ask you to please take into consideration what mazda charges for the PLASTIC replacement, which is the same flawed design and material that you already have. I think a couple of guys eeking out a price cheaper than Mazda Corporate's wholesale (Ray) price for an IDENTICAL copy in an unbreakable material, is pretty damn good. If we could sell them for $75, trust me we would. Ultimately we stand to lose a ton of money on this handle, so please realize we are out on a thin limb to make this a reality.

And if that doesn't cut it....remember, you didn't buy an FD to SAVE money In addition to paypal, we also now accept kidneys !
