I'm on a tight budget, but I had to buy this. For only $500, it has a crate motor with around 30K on it. I plan on keeping the motor stock except for maybe a full exhaust next year. Also may free up the intake a little. Anyway, I'm in Clayton, just southeast of Raleigh. I would love to see some local fc's to get some inspiration. Look forward to learning all there is about the RX7!

how much mpg would the 26b get with just stock parts? ive always thought that more rotors mean more gas consumption. but recently ive came across a thread that said that it actually might be more efficient than a 20b or something of that sort

Car will not start after washing engine..

A week and a half ago I washed the engine off on the drivers side to try to remove as much oil as possible to figure out where im leaking oil from. I believe I used a product called black magic engine degreaser while the engine was warm, border line hot. Before I washed the engine the car ran fine (fine in terms of how it usually drives) after I washed it, it cranks but does not start. I figured I got the distributor wet or something else so I let it sit a while and its still not starting.

I've began to do some basic trouble shooting, but im really rusty with mechanics now so I could really use some help.
when I washed the engine I removed the spark plug cables, I am fairly certain that I put them back on correctly. I did get the distributor wet which is why I let it sit for a few days to dry, I know I know rookie mistake to get the distributor wet.
I have spark after the ignition coils the ones that plug into the distributor, and I have spark at the spark plugs ( I only checked one plug and It shocked the hell outta me so im assuming distributor is ok? I will check all four plugs tomorrow hopefully)
also, one key factor I believe is the way its starting now. It is starting in a way ive never heard it do before or any other of my cars either, it tries to start but the starting seems to drop briefly if that makes sense, it doesn't completely stop starting but it sounds like its slowing down almost stopping for a split second then picks up again. I notice now when I was jumping the battery with another car that it does it in a consistent pattern, ill try to get a video but for now ill try lol... start start start start start - slow slow - start start start start - slow slow - start start start start - slow slow....
it is a stock 12a with no mods, any questions about it that would be helpful to know ill be glad to answer. I really appreciate the help guys :/

would it prevent the car from starting if I got some water in the oil? Im not sure but I may have gotten a small amount of water in the oil through the dip stick seal.
thank you very much in advance for any advice and help it is greatly appreciated!

My car at the moment is not a rotary powered vehicle it is a simple Pontiac.

I was an automotive technician for 7 years prior to being laid off last year. I used that "opportunity" to go back to school and pursue a different career path.

I joined up to do as much research as possible on the FD generation of 7s and their engines since I will have full access to a 2 car garage to store and work on a project in the near future. I started looking into older 911 porsches to mod and build into something along the lines of the ones built by RWB but I quickly found out how expensive everything is in the porsche world. I started looking for something different that looked great and had lots of potential for track use. That led me to the RX7.

You have to look long and hard in the US media to discover that four days of rioting have been a Muslim thing. I came upon this article which I found amazing!

Which Country has the Highest Rape Rate in the World?
John-Pierre Maeli

After thinking over the question for five minutes, you might come up with South Africa or some other third world country as your answer. However, the real answer might shock you.

Who has the highest number of rapes in the world?

The title sadly goes to Sweden, which now sees one out of every four Swedish women being the victim of rape.

Is this the result of the rapid influx of Muslim immigrants who continue to form a larger percentage of the Swedish population?

With Muslims represented in as many as 77 percent of the rape cases and a major increase in rape cases paralleling a major increase in Muslim immigration, the wages of Muslim immigration are proving to be a sexual assault epidemic by a misogynistic ideology.

The escalation of rape in Sweden is so bad that in July of last year there were an average of five rapes a day reported in Stockholm. Think about that for a minute; five women being raped a day in a modern civilized city. This isn't Afghanistan or Mexico we're talking about; it's Sweden.

The fact that the quantity of rapes is increasing due to the increase of Muslim immigrants is in itself disturbing. As of 2008, Sweden's rape statistics were up to 53.2 per 100,000 population. Sadly, they are most likely higher as the Muslim population continues to grow without any willingness to assimilate into Swedish society.

The only way to fix such a problem is either halt immigration altogether, or to bring down the law on Muslim immigrants who are unwilling to obey. However, such actions force Swedish officials to recognize the root of the problem - Islam. And we all know how government officials react to that.
