Microtech
Single turbo, microtech ecu just got some Tunning and I am driving back to Orlando. I am now seeing 16 to 18 afr under light acceleration at about 2500 to 2800 rpm. No bucking and the car runs time. At all other rpms the car is good on afr including under boost. Am I putting the engine in any danger at 2500 to 2800 rpm at 16 to 18 afr

Ok she made it. Turnpike 80 at 14.0 afr almost the whole way. Seems high but i needed a tune to get me back. Going to Kilo to retune as soon as i can figure this dual wastegate problem. Sometimes you just have to do it yourself. Safe in my garage. Going to let her sleep and tomorrow I will get the fans to come on at 190 as apprised to 180.

Yes you are right. I have had this car since 1998. I have been through a lot with it. I just like to take care of my stuff and I am **** about how it runs. My car Sat for 12 years in my garage after the guy who painted took it for a joy red and blew my motor. About 3000 dollars later and Jose Fuego did the rebuild. It never started the way a rotary should and he told me the 3mm apex deals just need some time to expand. Got on the Turnpike and the motor blew in Port St Lucie. Parked it and just got it out of the shop about two months ago. Rebuilt engine, new Aspec turbo kit, microtech, and re vmount. Yesbi am a little paranoid. Can you see why. Either way I thought I was to lean for I thought running a little lower act would assist in cooling the housings. I am still learning and don't want to learn the hard way

it's generally kind of difficult to do much damage to the engine out of boost, once inside boost the story changes completely. the combustion temps aren't high enough at cruise to damage anything, even if you run it to the point where the engine cannot maintain momentum.
