I love what you guys are doing for the community, releasing some great products for ALL the rotary platforms and not just the FD.

I assume details such as core charge, turn around, price, etc. will emerge when you officially release?

Does the upper intake need port matching to take full advantage? IE: no lip created by pairing this with a stock upper intake?

Im assuming that a stock ecu wouldnt be able to handle this due to the increased flow? Or am i wrong?

I'd be surprised if there was a measurable benefit to increasing TB size on any car still running a stock ECU. FWIW I measure pretty negligible pressure drop across the TB on my T04Z setup up to about 12psi.

nice part, wonder why no one created a billet that uses stock actuators...

I've never liked the single butterfly TB options, the fit/flow of them just doesn't seem ideal for the UIMs we have.

I've often wondered why no one made a billet solution that kept the separation between primary/secondary and used stock actuators with butterflies upgraded to these sizes. It's more work, but it gets rid of all the emissions crap, looks nicer and you could taper the inlet to/from the butterflies however you want + fix cross platform issues like FD3s to 20b UIM etc.

I know it's fundamentally a $ problem, but in order to do this mod you have to uninstall/reinstall all the hardware on the TB to do the bore and the CNC profile relative to the mounts for the enlarged ports and the enlarged butterfly valves is done... Seems like building a billet housing without out all the nonsense we all pull off anyway isn't too much further to go.

Great parts though, I'm looking at replacing my JDM UIM/LIM with your intake system and I stumbled on this looking for a TB option that would look as nice and clean as your intake does while adding a little more cross section area ;-) If you get bored, It'd certainly look damn nice with the rest of your parts.

Couldn’t find this product on the website anymore, but there’s an adapter plate to a 105mm GM style throttle body. Anyone know the positive/negatives between the Elite style throttle body and the GM style one?
