you do realize that his is a drift car and those are probably his sponsers right?
if buckey bashes a wall its gonna be cheaper to replace those wheels IF they break rather than spend his life savings on 1 new te37. if there are body panels off, maybe its cause he tapped the wall, or somebody t-boned him and bent them.
people really need to get over the whole "fake" wheel thing. if they roll, have tires on them and get me where i want to go, im pretty sure they are "real" wheels. any wheel can break when you track the **** out of them. you just made me realize even more why i left the miata scene. dont bring that **** poor attitude here.

Ive paid out of my pocket for 3yrs driving my car with real wheels. I never had spare rears up until this season. You are not george. George is balling out. Just because you are a part of that does not mean you are balling out... Might feel like it, but youre still a ********** who drives a miata and hates on people on forums that are working towards doing cool stuff.

High 5 to you bro. You've purchased a few sets of real wheels for your sisters Miata! I still think you're a ******, and i still know you will never say anything directly to me in person about how much you dislike my BN Stickers on my car.

Riverside sticker was $30 btw, in which the money went directly to assisting his family... Obviously the varrstoen stickers have to be on my car to show my appreciation for them supplying me wheels for this season i'm very fortunate to have picked them up.

As to how i'm "faking the funk" i'd really like to know... Last i checked my car has been getting built since XDC...

Lol i know what youre aaying about the stckers. Honestly though, who cares? I pay to drive my car. Japan drifting has influenced my driving since day 1. BN stickers on bn (replica or not) is just part of the scene. It looks sick, reminds me of where i started. Bottom line. Who caresssss!!!

IF it looks good wtf? fake bn, fake wheels, if it fits and looks rad then it IS rad. brand names don't mean **** unless its engine/electrical junk. even then, some brand names are over-hyped and some little known brands are under-hyped. especially for track drift cars concerning aero and wheels tho. fake BN sticker? it looks like BN, just a cheaper version (it will get destroyed so wtf, why buy BN realsies?). still looks like BN. I'm on buckeys side, ***** rediculous. not that I matter but keep drifting fun. bust someones ***** joking, not for real. from what I've seen on the forum, buckey is no poser. he gets down.

on the font, no need. just kinda reminded me of like something you would see in a comic book or something. idk, its cool though. I got photoshop with about a bazillion fonts so I could figure something. my friend has a vinyl cutter too. my car is stock na base, sun faded/peeling clear, black primer and bondo everywhere on a maroon car(cause I half assed body work and never finished), and a semi smashed passenger fender (wall kiss). only thing I got is PBM coils, karack's OEM modded adjustable sublink, and a drift ebrake button. Not gonna sticker my car up too much, it doesn't deserve it because I don't throw down enough. no tires left. when I get cool stuff and drift it more, I might throw more stickers on it.

might primer it black soon just because its been multi color for a couple years and my friend has a gravity feed gun now. I did have my friend do up a function > form sticker though. so people know why it looks like ****. I've been replacing all kinds of suspension parts and trying to keep her running with no budget. you know, average FC owner lol. my usual daily threw a rod so FC is daily and only car now.

I'm with Buckey on this one.

Although I do like brand wheels like Works and Volks, they simply provide a different kind of cool factor. It's one thing to say that your wheels cost 2k and came on a boat from Japan, and another to say you dropped 900 on a set of Varrstoens, making the car look and function just as well as Volks.

If I had the choice, I'd go the less expensive route, making my car look and function good as opposed to taking years to build it just so I can say it all came from Japan.

However, things like suspension and engine parts shouldn't be cheaped out on.

You're just gonna tear up body kits and wheels anyway, so who really cares? Driving is what really matters.

putting stickers on a companies product to make it look like its A DIFFERENT COMPANIES PRODUCT is ******* lame. thats my point. i dont care if you have knockoff wheels. if i liked the way TE's looked i would buy reps too. but if i put a Volk sticker on there or ANYWHERE on my car where someone could even coincidentally think they are volk wheels, that would be lame. this is obvious stuff. we run fake BN on our car, but we sure as hell dont pretend like its NOT a rep of an original design. you can say all day that oh i just like the sticker and its just there cuz blah blah...no. im not buying it and you know better. these fan boys might believe it but i dont.

also would like to say i respect Buckeys work ethic alot, we are in the same field and i know its not easy to meet customer needs and work on your own car too. and i believe hes already fixed the damage to his car and is planning to drive more this season
i have nothing against the guy personally, i just have my own opinions on arguably minor details.
(i have the day off today because i wanted to watch FD so thats why i have time to argue, normally i wouldnt get too into it but whatever)

Ima run BN sticker on my stock junker. support the cause you know? lol. I respect your car/driving as well elevens. at least most FC drifters aren't like honda tuners. you know what I'm saying?

has anyone stopped to think that ya, we are arguing about stickers and aesthetic parts? things that just affect the look? time to calm this down. personally I think the whole JDM thing is an overhyped trend that didn't make sense. japan isn't the only place to get good cool parts. on that same note, I never understood the reason for right hand drive swaps in the states. I mean its a lot of work, most of the time for nothing more then the fact you drive on the other side of the car. Maybe I'm alone here, but maybe we should appreciate the appearence and reliability of parts rather what sticker they have on them. I respect the guy with the work wheels just as much as the guy with the xxr wheels if they both look good on the car. I'm not impressed with people who spend more for the sake of getting real wheels/kits UNLESS they spent more to have real 3 peice wheels and not just to say "ya, spent 3g on these. cause I can". I like buckeys varrstoens. they look so similar to the volks and are a lot cheaper. makes sense to me. save the 3g wheels for show cars and meets.

Honestly who cares if the ***** real? Anything for that matter. It gets the job done and some people cant afford 3500 for a set of wheels or 1800 for a real aero kit..

no one cares if you run replica aero. i run replica aero because it's tough to get real stuff and i tend to go through a LOT of aero.

i think what pat/dylan are saying is that running fake stuff + real stickers = dumb. faking the funk and whatnot.

no one cares that buckey runs fake BN. the fast that he runs fake BN + real looking stickers is weak. sorry buckey but it's true.
