hey guys im fairly new to this forum but i figured i would post up a quick version of my build thread from a local site im on.

last year i sold my s14 with the intention of getting away from drifting, it was really expensive and by day im a mechanic so i was working all day on cars and then i would come home and work on them some more. Anyways this spring came around and my closest buddies were getting their cars ready for this drift season and before i knew it i was hooked again. came across an 88 turbo 2 for sale on my local forum, gave the guy a call, he gave me a good price so the next day i went and picked it up. ive had the car for about 3 months now its deffinetly turned out ot be alot more work then i thought but im getting close to the end now.

I bought the car without seeing it run as it was apart being rebuilt and infact when i got it home i also noticed that none of the lights worked etc. anyways in the past while ive been able to fix all the issues with my head lights, tail lights, coolant buzzer, etc. without getting into too much details i ended up buing an exhaust and intake for the car right off the bat, then read that i should probably upgrade my injectors so i bought some rc750cc injectors im currently waiting on, also decided to buy an rtek 2.1 for my ecu so i could tune the car(want to go with a haltek in the future) bought prosport boost and water temp gauges along with an aem wideband. just finished wiring them in and fitting them in the panel i made.

on to the picture story now lol

sold my s14 last year (loved this car regret selling it but rhd insurance is insane)

picked this heap up (sorry bad pic)

started painting it right away it was 3-4 different colors

finished painting the whole car

tore the dash out to remove **** i dont need

engine bay shot(previous owner painted intake/various parts)

corksport downpipe wrapped

engine bay as it sits right now waiting for injectors/new rad and efans

rays knight marquis wheels i got from a buddy they should look alright once the car is looooowww

my gauge setup

anyways its a pretty tame build thread compaired to some of you guys out there but it should get me around the track sideways once its done

future plans before winter
-pbm coils
-pbm wheel spacers
-rear overfenders
-jtp spindles
-maybe aero
-paint is not staying plastidiping my car
friends r33 plastidiped looks badass imo

if you guys have any suggestions as to how i could improve on this car or if there are any MUST have item please feel free to let me know in this thread, thanks for looking.

little update, i got my rear overs fitted and riveted in place. it was really easy and came out pretty good, i probably could have used less rivets but mehh.

test fit with some 18" battles, still undecided on wheels might go with something cheap like xxr 527s and get 2 sets for drifting.
