Daily drove it for about 2 years with no problems... Except for blowing the original motor, blowing 8-9 axles(seriously) blowing up 2 front bumpers, going through 8 fenders(again, seriously), 2,005,469 exhaust leaks, 3 headlight switches(still none work), 2,000,000 tires, 3 sets of coilovers, 2 tail lights, 2 radiators, 2 6-puck clutches, 5 sideskirts, 2 headlight motors, 2 oil coolers, 3 thermostats, 3 water temp gauges(don't know how i break them), that's all I can remember at the moment.

To people running wide front fenders. What is your wheel setup and how wide fenders are you running?
I bought some from a dude and he said they're somewhere around 25-30mm wide, and my 9.5 -7's dont fit, at about -10ish degrees of camber. They actually fit worse than my stock fenders with a pull on them.
A. He bullshit me
B. My front wheels are dumb

I bought supposedly 25mm wide fenders that ended up being stock width with a vent. I think it's a common problem with crappy knockoff body work. I just cut and extended mine 2 1/4 inches and then fiberglassed them back up.
this is after I modified them

I need advice on front wheel sizing before I order them. I have an option of R17 8j et35 vs. 9j et20. I will be running stock rolled fenders, modified knuckles, extended lca and lot's of low. I will use 215/40 tyre on the front in both widths. My concern is that 9j et20 might be too big and I will rub on everything and wheels would stick out too much with 1-1.5" extended lca. Will I be fine with 9j or I should better opt for 8j?
Thanks.
Thanks.

extended lca pushes the pivot point of the wheel out away from the chassis. lower offset wheels just increase the arc while maintaining the stock pivot point. you will still hit, just further back. i did a crude cad drawing that represented this and i think its somewhere in this thread. if it were my choice, id run extended lca and lower offset wheels

from a daily standpoint, im on the pros with 8k/10k .... I don't mind them turned up 4 clicks up from full soft. But I run really soft tires when street so its a bouncy thing. Mind you, this is on my free chassis with 160k miles and worn out everything else.
I will have a completely different report when I throw them on my new shell that is solid everything and no more slop.
