sorry for the mega late response. I did a lot to the suspension, so it's hard to say what helped in what ways, but with zero caster and the softer springs I felt I had good control of the car. and still don't have sway bars. Felt really good.

Thread revival time. In the end of may for topdrift round 2, I blew my motor during practice day. The exhaust broke at the y pipe and the extra exhaust flow caused my turbo to overboost. As soon as I heard my exhaust dragging I went to the pits to take it off, and when I went back out the very next run it blew. I let it sit for a while to finish up some other projects, but it will be back together with a streetport by Wednesday for topdrift round 4.

Sick man. We're gonna have a pretty similar set up.

You gonna try and make it to any of the irwindale events? I'm hoping to be ready for next month

Yeah DEFINITELY man. Looking forward to that. Would have liked to have done the event this week but I put it off for too long. You be at round 4?

Man I need to get on this thread more often.

So I got the motor together and broke it in, but barealy had time for tuning before heading up to TopDrift Rd. 4, so dumb me put a quick conservative tune on it, and when I got up there, the car started cutting out between 5-7k depending on the load/gear. I didn't get it figured out during topdrift, after trying a bunch of other dumb things, I thought hey maybe it's the tune. Turns out it was running WAAY too rich, so I put a good tune on it and now it rips.

All star bash was this past weekend, had an absolute blast, probably most fun drift event I've had so far, got some really good video from that I'll post up here soon. Hopefully soon I'll be starting to collect go fast parts to ramp this car up to the next level.
