It's abit of a long story so I'll try and shorten it.
I've been talking for a long time about building another car that I would be able to have registration on, rather then having it sit in my backyard and only do track days in it.
After thinking about it alot, I browsed some facebook pages, local sale pages and stumbled across a 82 SA22C, stock 12a, untouched interior and abit of rust. Ended up getting for a good price due to some issues upon inspection.
I was considering at this point keeping both the cars, one for track, one for street. I had paid for a drift day the upcoming Thursday. I was wasn't sure if I wanted to drive it as I was still pretty set on just building 1 car out of the two but went anyway. Long story short, 3rd lap in, big backfire, loss of power and a couple of apex seals gone out of the rear rotor.
Was pretty bummed, didn't know what to do. Decided to strip it out, so started on Saturday morning, had the car ready for scrap that night.
Cutting it down, this is the current car, no aero at this point but it will happen, super basic for the time being but has registration so I've been driving it everywhere, super fun.

Can't wait for some updates man! I came late to the party but I loved your previous build and it put a hole in my heart when I saw it scrapped lol. I would love to start a build thread of my own, but it'd take a couple of years haha. Good luck with the new shell!

Car is going super well! Gone a bigger a tyre, so much better. Opted for bridgestone MY02's on the front, they are REALLY good for the price. Been using it as my daily driver as I'm abit over my crown estate for the moment. Have done abit of streeting, steers awesome, turns 185's super super easy. Going to take it out on track in a couple weeks and see how it holds up with a bigger tire on a big speed track.
