302fc's pro am build
so im building a s5 FC to eventually start competing in pro am events and i will be updating this thread as things go..
it will be a full track car so most mods arent needed to mention (coilovers, wheels, cage, etc.) one big thing i am changing (please dont kill me) is im putting in a Ford 302! so this should get interesting... pics will go up soon.. you can also follow this build and my other builds im working on at redefinedmotorsports.tumblr.com... that will probably get updated more than this. haha

I'm pretty evenly split on this one, honestly. I despise piston swaps in any Rx- chassis, but the 5.0s are a damned good engine, and make heaps of power for cheap, on stock parts even.
For those looking to get out and drive with a massive powerband, this is the logical way to go.

No the stock hood doesn't fit right now. However I think if/when I remove the accessories it will fit with little modification.
As far as mods go I'm just focusing on getting the car running and drivable right now and that's proving to be a challenge partially because I am work too damn much. And since I'm piecing it together there's a lot of little things missing that I have to track down. Hopefully I can get everything by this weekend and get it together and running. Fingers crossed because I have to start back on my first gen I'm putting a turbo II motor in
