I just had this thread idea. Not sure if its been done before though.
Anyway, basically its about :
What have you done to your car since last DGRR ('07), modifications, upgrades, etc.??
Or if your bringing a different car than what you brought last year. What is it?
Im bringing my '89 RX7 GTU (the one I brought before). Changes since last year, tune-up, replaced drive-shaft (w/what might be a TII drive-shaft), 4-piston front brake caliper swap, emissions removal, non-blown (working) speakers, (comming this weekend, if all goes well) window tint, (and sometime within the next few months) R-tec ECU upgrade.
I thinking of doing a engine swap with my project engine, but might not do it before DGRR '08.

'98 Subaru Impreza Outback-sport, DD, rx7 rescue vehicle.
Added FEED Bumper, fenders, rear fenders and hood. Added RE Diffuser, JIC Magic Strut Braces, JDM 4.30 Rear end, JDM Fully Rebuilt Tranny, RE short shifter, Volk RE 30 Wheels, Toyo Proxes R888's and some nifty Rotora brakes F&R. ....and repainted the car. oh and a few stereo adds.
Bringing ITA RX-7 again. There is a small chance I will have the EProd RX-7 done. But not sure yet.

With any luck a lady friend that doesn't get car sick, my son with his 89, if I can keep him out of trouble and my vert with a replaced transmission I fried at last years meet...
07' I had the 90' black GXL with black Rims. That one has been sold.
I am getting ready to pick up an 87' Silver TII. Mods will probably be in the
lines of suspension maybe exhaust and some other little mods. I will
wait until next winter to do anything motor and ecu. I don't want to
have the car down for the 08' rally and possibly some track days though
out the year. Picking here up this week

07 Had to bring my STi due to 7 not being done.
Since 05 was the last and only time my 7 made it, I am bound and determined to get it there in 08. Here is what will be different from 05:
Fresh Ported Engine, 99+ front bumper with all accessories, Dual oil coolers, PWR Radiator, Blitz FMIC, Knight Sports Turbos, 1300cc secondaries, Feed Carbon Sides, RE Rear Diffuser, other random bits & new audio stuff.

I don't think I'll be in anything rotary powered, I'll probably be in my 1992 skyline gt-r.

Good to hear you guys are getting your car ready for this event!!
I just got the word that my RX-2 is running and is ready to be picked up!!
Also, to remind some of you.. I would go ahead and sign up early as the rooms are being filled up and registration fee is at the lowest.. Starting Jan 1st, it will go up $10/person.
Don't get me wrong, I want all of you to wait so I could pocket extra $10... but I rather people sign up early..
^Used Osaka JDM motor and 14psi....I guess I had to know it wouldn't last too long. Been getting harder and harder to start so I decided to do a compression check and my fears were confirmed:
95-Front
70-Rear
I can't imagine how fast it will be with a streetport and the Stage 1 BNR....Just need to sell my gixxer to get the cash for the build. Going to have Charles do the rebuild.

would love to drive an Rx-7 to it this year because after making it last year, i'm officially hooked (but i did miss driving my 7). however, unless i win the lottery (or have some other form of unrealistically good luck), i'll probably be driving the Rx-8 again. my plan is to have a full tuneup, exhaust, brakes and possibly a flywheel by then. i guess we'll see ...
