Willowbrook Mall - March 10th
After a week of sudden snowfalls, isolated white-outs, sleet and what have you, Friday afternoon suddenly cleared and got warmer. Got together at Willowbrook Mall in Langley for some snaps.
Thanks to T. Seuf for sharing his SRL photos.
These cars were built likely 7 years apart. The one without the wing has original papers dated April, 1992, from on Ontario dealer. The other was likely made in Feb. 1999 (VIN 500833). One is LHD the other RHD. Was fun to trade test drives. Despite the RHD and LHD difference, the fundamentally similar feel of the cars shines through. Both cars have original paint. The silver still pops under the streetlights.

Great pics. Are the cars mostly stock? I'm looking forward to seeing some real Spirit R cars around here.
Also, it's getting ready to snow again in Ontario.

Stock Look
Generally the intention is to maintain a stock look while adding some enhancements, such as upgraded exhaust, wheels, radiators, suspension, headlights, gauges. The 93 LHD obviously has the 99 front and tails. The 99 has so-called "reliability mods" - mild street port, parralled turbos, and emissions delete (still has cat).

March 18 YVR South Terminal - Pulling Out
We made the short run from Wallmart to the south terminal of YVR. There are many great places for photo-ops. Better to go in summer though, when it is light til 9:30.
It was a great thrill to see seven RX streaming through the Richmond commuter traffic of minivans and suvs. Like sharks among manatees.

Glad to see some FD owner around.
It has been a while since I started mine. Bought house, house work took all my time, dislocated left knee, surgery a year later, still muffed up after over a year. I can't find time to work on her.
