ok some updates. Alan Davis no longer works for Brampton Mazda? Atleast that is what the receptionist said.

Jim still works at Ontario Mazda, and he honored the 20% off.

Heh, I went to W.L. Mackenzie across the street :P

I do my own servicing, however it would be nice to find a cheap(er) source for Royal Purple fluids, anything you can do about that?

Hmm, I'll get back to you on that one

How much are you currently paying for royal purple, and what viscosity are you looking for?

**New vendor with RX-7 club discount, High Tech Coatings**

Many of you have seen under the hood of my car and have asked where the ceramic coating has been done.....

Well HTC has decided to start giving all club members a 10% discount on their services.
To recieve this discount you MUST mention the RX-7 club and my name! I spoke with him today (picking up more parts for my car) and he said he would be more then happy to help us out a bit.

For more information you can contact HTC @ 519-975-4HTC or toll free @ 888-225-8648 You can also visit their webisite www.hightechcoatings.com

Shawn

also.......

When placing an order please mention if the parts are for the intake side or not. If so they will take extra precaution that its not applied to thick on the insides, that can cause flaking.

Mazdees in Pickering, take brock south to bayley then turn left and just past the Tim Hortons is Toy Av. they are on toy av on the west side.

and I have my own question, I'm swapping the automatic tranny in the RX7 I have now to a 6-speed with a new engine, what things will I need to tackle this project? will I be better off finding a second RX7 with no engine or tranny but with all the things for working the clutch and do it that way?

Talk to Dave there - 905-619-8813. He's been working on and racing RX7's since they came out.

jrp

I went to jrp yesterday for some parts, and asked if the discount is still valid. The answer was "NO". Even though I got 10% discount at the end, I think it would be better to somehow modify the first post.
I was planning on my brake project budget with 15% discount as a factor, and it turned out to be a overbudget plan, which causes some delay.

Thumbs up Mountain Mazda .....Hamilton

I had assumed that all this time I already posted about them in here, I guess I forgot too......

See Paul in the parts dept and he will give all members 20% discount on RX7 parts.

Like most of the dealers, you must mention the RX7club to recieve the discount

Does anyone know if Guelph Mazda has any kind of discount for club members? I know there's a few rotorheads in that area, and I've been told that the parts people there are pretty knowledgable. I'm going to trade school there in a few weeks and I might stop by for a few parts.
