1984 GSLSE tops bids on eBay
This very original 30k miles GSLSE fetched $16,400 on eBay last night. This is I believe the highest price reached for an Fb to date. But like the original owner, if you bought this car you wouldn't want to drive it much, much less drive it the way it was meant to be driven. And that is sad.

Perfect candidate for a carbed small block Ford V8 conversion. Shell would be in great shape and you can sell parts to recoup your investment. Maybe a widebody kit with hoodscoop and rear wing, flatblack and de-chromed.
Maybe dig up some Thrush sidepipes and run them like zoomies out just before the rear wheels. Gut the interior and put in a couple of race buckets with a 4 point cage. Bag all 4 corners and bump out the fenders some. For wheels, I was thinking about 15x10 chrome and gold wires on all 4 corners with 225x45x15 handmade whitewall tires.
What do you guys think? Sorry I missed it.

Wow. I know of one near me that has 19,000km on it. The seller wanted a lot less than that for it. None of my friends went for it because it's value comes from it being such low mile (and we'd want to drive/mod it) but if it can be sold on eBay for that kind of price, I may have to go look at it.
