JDM S4 Vert
Hey everyone just figured I would start a build thread. Long story short, junked my HB cosmo and picked this up as my "forever car" to bring back to the States whenever I get the chance.
Picked the car up for 400,000 yen from a dealership in Fukuoka who shipped it by boat up here to Hachinohe port. Car had 60,05xKM on it when I got my hands on it!!! 1986 Auto vert in white. No mods on it when I got it, save for the cd player, and super nice wheels...
Manual swap will happen here shortly, and lots of other great plans are sure to come with it. Now onto the pictures:

Same day I got it I swapped on some stuff I had sitting around while I wait on inspection day so its road legal. Put on my Personal wheel/nardi button and threw in the S5 Knightsports 270km gauge cluster. Mileage rolled back to the original for the body/engine/everything.

Was looking over my registration stuff today, when I realized my SN is 100078, meaning this car was only the 78th convertible to roll off the production line EVER. So stoked!

Quick update
Got the car legally on the road, passed inspection problem free, save for the left headlight being a little high. Custom plate is ordered too and will be here soon.
Went to the shop today to throw on a couple more parts so its at least sort of ready for summer when it arrives.
First up was Cusco Zero2 coils and Knightsports strut bar
Then some Wise Square clear flash to pass lenses
And the finished product. The coilovers didnt go nearly as low as I was hoping, but it can all be remedied with some changes.

Im a dumby, and mistyped. Its an 87. Yeah the trim being white seems to be something previous owner did. When I pull it out of the car I will check for any identifying marks.

Havent updated in forever, I apologize for that haha. Been super busy, so many events going on over here right now.
Went to Mazdafest/HellaFlush/Formula Drift Japan/Silvia 180sx meet down at Fuji Speedway. While down there stopped by R-Magic, Panspeed, Famspeed, and KnightSports. Also ran into Amemiya-san! Met Mad-Mike too. If anyone wants more pics just ask.
Following all that crap, had a D1 event to compete in, so I was prepping for that for a week or two, but got 2nd in the scrub class. Naoto Suenaga was the main judge and was pretty stoked a gaijin got that far way out here in the North.

Anyway, actual update to the car-wise.
Picked up this hood, need to get it painted and put on, not sure on brand, but its carbon and very well made.
HKS metal pod filter
Landon Balks rad cover
New top
R-Magic exhaust
And some S4 UK tails
And a random Re-Amemiya cup holder haha

Update for this. Have done a lot, but dont have pictures of some of the stuff, will get those up later. Heres what I DO have though:
Put in a new sub setup, fits perfectly and hits plenty hard for me.
I had a set of infini seats in it for a bit, but they were just WAY too tall, my head was nearly out the roof. Just didnt work for me, so I sold em.
Also picked up some authentic Bride Vios seats, Mazdaspeed "wood" ****, and Miata wood e-brake handle. Just an updated interior shot really.

The jspec turbo cars could be had with autos, I know when we imported a few containers of engines every now and then one would come in with an auto. Useless to us except you got the correct counterweight for a light flywheel swap. Dont throw out the counterweight when you swap the trans incase you decide to go with a light flywheel later
