Cheers, feels bloody clean, and the newly trimmed interior smells great.

Just waiting on the postman

Excellent job!

I like the dash and had similar plans for mine.

Did you custom cut your carpets or did you get an aftermarket replacement?

Thanks, dash still has a bit more work to go yet.

I went with aftermarket replacement carpets, premolded and cut, seemed easiest.

Are you doing the leather interior yourself?
Great looking work in any case.

No sourced dash and rear seats out, will do the same for the door cards too once I'm done modding them.

Ok so a little update, My iphone4 cradle came in the mail and I was able to finish off my glovebox install.

Instead of running the typical stereo system setup, i've ditched the head unit and am using the iphone4 instead.

Out of the phone is a 3.5 headphone jack which becomes twin RCA at the other end, which plugs into a 4ch amp, I've got sony 6" in the rear strut towers and I've got some sony 4" for up front. Yess I realise sony isn't baller spec and I wont be breaking any Db records, but I'm getting on in my years now and just want something I can listen to my music on.

So basically what you're looking at is some 3mm acrylic sheet, shaped to suit, painted black on the backside to give it that glass look. The phone cable is run through a grommet in the sheet and has enough slack to retract back into the grommet and sit snuggly when not in use.

Look at the pics to get the idea, excuse the mess, needs a spray n wipe.

More updates soon.

Seven got some sunshine today while i was prepping my neighbours hachi, primed it this evening, my gun was being a complete ******** and so I've got some fixing to do tomorrow. Doing a black over blue 2 tone.

Seven is booked in for a windscreen on wednesday and i went and got more paint n thinner today to do the doors, so soon i'll be able to shut it up and keep grubby little fingers out of it.

Ordered some black holographic flakes today, going to be toying with a few ideas on the spare bonnet. Wife thinks the current colour isn't dark enough, so might be tinting some clear, and might be putting some fleck in it. see how the spare bonnet turns out.

Time for a beer.

Here's some pics of the hachi just about done, just needs to be stickered up now.

Needs a couple small spots fixed but pretty good overall.

Well after a couple cans of mother this morning I've gotten motivated enough to get the doors done, just about finished the priming, tomorrow I'm going to color the inside of the door and monday the outsides, so by end of next week I should have the doors hung. Some pics in a few days.
