I believe this car may be cursed, every time I think I'm ready to go to the dyno something else breaks or goes wrong lol. I rebuilt a new caliper that's leaking again, in on my 2nd battery that won't charge, my new clutch is slipping since I scuffed and reused an old flywheel, I'm not a fan of welded diff life lol, alternator belt started slipping like crazy, an alternator went bad and when I tried to swap gilmer pullies the alternator pulley fell apart, damn Rotary works. But in the time I've had to fiddle I've made an intake, swapped in my koyo rad, samco hoses, wired the fuel pump in and out an electic fan on a switch. Put on my gilmer belt kit, then scrapped that lol. Now I'm onto a borrowed dual belt alternator pulley and belts.
We also picked up a rx8 in trade for some turbo parts with 80k and no compression, was hoping for carbon lock but was surprised with a "ported" motor when it was supposedly stock.
Also snagged an s4 t2 drive train for my grey car as well as yet another s4 t2 keg, trans, driveshaft, diff, axles, starter, and slave cylinder. I have almost everything to put the t2 motor together so if it has good compression there may just swap the grey car to turbo when I blow it up on nitrous. I've got more motors than I know what to do with at this point...I need more cars!!

Thanks, I got my flywheel resurfaced and ordered my new clutch today so all I need is a starter and slave. Now to pull the n/a trans and get everything ready

Yanked the motor and trans today, hopefully for the last time for awhile.
The resurfaced flywheel looks as good as new, my southbend clutch should be here Tuesday, so I'm scrubbing the motor down and may paint it black I haven't decided yet. I had 2 cans of wrinkle black but idk what happened to them so if it's gonna cost money I'll just leave it, but I know I have 2 cans somewhere. My bday is May 28th so now it's a race to get it all finished as a present to myself!!

I'm gonna buy a quality gilmer kit from Australia since mazdatrix doesn't sell them anymore. The pullies are all machined from 1 piece of aluminum so hopefully I'll have no issues.
I couldn't find my wrinkle black so I just painted the motor regular black. I like it, that's all that really matters. And we started playing with the vinyl cutter and my glitter vinyl looks awesome. I need to get on the Rotary Illuminati stickers, and figure out what color I want to paint the car to match the stickers better. If I can get wrap cheap enough I may try my hand at that.

It's been awhile, cars doing fantastic I've put almost 3k miles on it. I finally made it to the dyno and made 165 rwhp and 138 ft-lbs on a dyno dynamics dyno. I still need to upload the video to YouTube but that'll be up here shortly.
As you can see during the drivability tuning my bumper just so happened to burst into flames lmfao. I thoroughly enjoyed it tbh, it definitely livened up the party so to speak. Once it was out I just yanked the bumper and we proceeded as planned.

I trimmed up the bumper after this pic and have a charmander sticker in the mail to put where it's all burned lol. Other than that I'm looking into another set of wheels soon and then the giant wing will go back on as well as my t2 skirts and my shine front lip whenever it arrives.

Yesterday was a lot of fun, my corner of the booth was on point lol. Car was dirty as hell but still looks good.
I picked up a set of work eurolines over the weekend and I love how they look. My buddy has a set on his fc with t2 skirts and a shine front lip and I liked it so much I ordered a shine lip and just need to put my t2 skirts back on. 18x9 all the way around and still running my spacers, I'll pick up wider fenders and quarters here soon I hope.
So that's where I'm at up til today...now I play the waiting game again for more parts to install.

Well to make a long story short, I ruined my rims in NYC less than 2 weeks after getting them.
I was in New Jersey visiting my girlfriend and it just so happened to be the weekend of the Pan American Nationals which were badass. But when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you....the Cragars D window.

These are a square 17x9 -12 4.5 backspacing. A bit aggressive even for myself hahahaha. And technically they're Black Rock D windows, bc I can't do anything right. So I dnt back to summit and got 17x9 00 4.5 BS for the rear, and 17x8 00 4.5 BS for the front. With a 10mm spacer the fronts will be perfect with +30mm fenders but I'll need to grind down a bit of the caliper. There's a hump that looks like it's from casting so I'm just gonna bust out the die grinder and then the fronts will be perfect. I'm waiting on the rears to be sent to me they weren't in stock when I went to summit racing unfortunately. So hopefully they arrive around the same time my +50mm rear over fenders get here. So yet again I'm playing the waiting game and I'm back to vert BBS's, and I'm selling my red car so all my good stuff in going onto my grey car.
And of course the one time I didn't drive my car bc how hot it was in there the day before on the trip to summit I see that gem above on the trip back. Minty and I'd have to assume has working A/C bc it was 95° that day w/o being inside a Rotary hotbox lmao

I ended up swapping out my wheels for 17x8 and 17x9 4.5 B/S 00 Offset d windows and spaced out the front wheels instead of grinding down the hump. The wheels completely transformed the look of the car. The tires are 225 and 235/45/17.
I let my buddy borrow my rear coilovers to go to Woodward this weekend so that's where the wheel gap comes from. I also received my shine auto front lip so I installed that, finally fitted my t2 skirts for good, and threw my rear wing on for the full effect. I'm gonna take a section of the risers out so it's a little less redonk but it looks good in pics.
I love the way it's looking, but I need another motor :/

I made it all the way out to NJ from Ohio yet again but this time either my motor succumbed to carbon lock, or my OMP hasn't been working for the past 5k miles and its gonna look like a 300k mile motor. I'm selling my red car so I've been putting all my parts into one chassis so I have a full bridge s5 n/a motor to put in my car, but I'm trading a set of re-amemiya aero mirrors for a running s4 n/a motor tomorrow and hopefully I'll be wrapping around town again soon.
Thankfully I found a random drifter from New York to trailer me home bc I couldn't even get a tow truck I was so far away. But at the end of the day I now have a hula girl on my dash so it could always be worse. Then again her skirt fell off so I guess she's a striooer now lmao. I also swapped over my NRG quick release and steering wheel as well as my Signal Auto cooling panel. Hopefully all goes well with this motor tomorrow and then I'll have something to play with until I finish my bridgy block that needs a few holes drilled and tapped still.

My car still doesn't run....but it's a lot closer meow. I gutted the interior, swapped in a grey dash from my red car and put my glovebox that's signed by mad mike in.
Installed ARP extended studs and spacers up front to clear the calipers, and shaved down the wheel well portion of the t2 skirts down to clearance for turning. I'll have to do slightly more once I have the motor back in. My s5 block is basically assembled finally and pretty much ready to come to life, I cannot wait to hear sweet sweet braps back in my life.
Pineapple racing has a awesome rotor shaped oil sandwich plate I picked up as well as their s5 OMP block off, and I'll be running an FD rear oil regulator and a shimmed front regulator. Unfortunately I learned my front counterweight is roached under the washer shim so now I'm on the hunt for an s5 front counterweight and an s5 t2 flywheel or...a lightweight flywheel and s5 auto rear counterweight and I can find drive it again. Once its finally done I'll break it in n/a and then boost it over the winter most likely. I'm already drilled and tapped for oil feed and drain, the oil filter sandwich is for my external oil mod I just need to I stall the line and fitting still. Things yet to do, install my 5 point harness, throw on the FD TPS when it arrives and wire it in, wire in my new injector clips and eliminate the factory resistor box I wired in for the stock injectors. And I've swapped to my fluidyne radiator.

My T2 lower has been finished and is ready, the FD upper and TB have had the mods done
My old motor has been told down and let's just say carbon and sitting for 8 years did not help things one bit. Remember this motor made 165/138 stock port and 99k miles all I did was take things off and put on a Haltech. The carbon build up actually may have bumped up compression making it run so damn good hahahaha

So this explains why all of a sudden I lost compression, everything is stuck in.... everything. A lil brake clean and it cleaned up decently but it'll prolly need lapped if it's going to run again. I shoulda just hooked up the nitrous from the damn start smdh
