Will be interesting to see how that condenser works out as most of our options have disappeared.

I bought this one on Amazon in Nov 2015 for $95, (its now priced at $999.66) for my Denso system. It was far from an exact fit, was cheaply made from overseas, but in the end I finally got it installed and working. Only time will tell how long it lasts.

https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Quali...ords=60-60022N

While my AC shop was good and stuck it out with me, they didn't have enough imagination to come up with installing a similar sized generic condenser.

This was the issue we ran into with Mike's lines. Visually, the parts are in good shape, but when disassembling the lines, they either lost thread or just cracked due to the age and internal corrosion.

Same guy on Auction site and Amazon selling for $1k. Nice price Gouge up from $95.
You can get a direct fit Denso Condenser if you want to fool with Yahoo Auctions in Japan.
Takes a bit of time and shipping is expensive. It's the route I was going to go until I slept on it and the encouragement to take this route. It's absolutely the most cost effective way and the fitment is so close that it's of minimal fabrication to make it work. The drier should be replaced when you open the system to atmosphere anyway. This made the most sense and it's what the LS swap guys use when they add AC.

The fab work is as elementary as it gets. No welding, just some flat stock aluminum and a drill should make quick work.
If you are smart you may only need to make one side. I think I can get the passenger side Greddy bracket to work. Most of the thought going into this is so it doesn't look like an afterthought. But honestly you won't really see the adapater brackets I don't think. Especially with the Rad cooling panel mod Jason made that I am going to mostly just copy.

Small update. Last batch of parts should be back from Powdercoating next week. Decided to change the finish on a few things and JP3 has been doing work getting the car ready for reassembly. Jason took care of welding a bung on the elbow instead of just keeping it tapped for the Water Meth injection.
That's done and headed off to get coated in Wrinkle black.

On a side note Jason cut down the length of the Bung that was to be welded on so that the nozzle would be right at the opening into the Intake stream instead of just blowing into an orifice.
Those little things make for a quality job. Thanks Jason.

Picked up some piping for hot side of IC. I measured and tried to find something bead rolled and off the shelf with this HPS 6" straight pipe. You can get bends and angles from 20 degrees on up for about 4x the cost. Looking to try out this straight piece first. It's off to get Powdercoated. I also picked up a JDM Upper that Jason recommended as it cleans up the Upper a bit. Has less things to block off and less nipples to cap.

Have you figured out your belts yet? Any progress on the AC condenser mount? Get to work Mauru ...

Perhaps Jason and I will come down to your place once all the powdercoating is done and help with the install. Spring is around the corner

This weekend I plan to prep for the final push once those parts arrive.
Come on down when the rest of the parts are coated. I wish I was off today. It's 64 degrees out!

Your engine bay has come a very long way, Admiral

Real OG's cut the airpump mounting ear off their water pump housing. You're getting close but haven't attained OG-R status my friend. Never Stop Challenging!

Jehan wanted to do it but I don't think this is the proper work space for going all out. Plan is to pull the motor when it needs it and repaint the engine bay. Do everything else. For now we just want to get it running, tuned and enjoying it by spring.

Rich, I agree. However, I cut mine off, had the WP housing polished, put it all back together, than started to motor only to have tiny pinhole leaks start shooting coolant all over the engine bay due to casting porosity. I was so pissed, and it happened less than a week prior to my annual trip to SS. Took some scrambling to pull it back off and repair in time to get things put back together in time. Just saying... if you trim it, be careful not to chop it down too tight

fwiw, I pressure test my cooling system whenever I do a repair or have the system open for whatever reason. Helps identify any leaks under pressure w/o having to drive the car and find out on the road miles away from home...

Grinding the airpump casting is not a problem. Just don't get too ambitious and grind too much.

I like the wrinkle black. Car is gonna look great, will it run come May? Would be a shame all this hard work and time put it to be sitting on a garage

Be running as soon as I get motivated and assemble it. Probably 3 days work. Still recovering from being sick for two weeks. This should be ready to roll race before spring.

First weekend I've felt well in a few weeks. Tried to make up for lost time. Worked for a few hours on the car prepping for the guys coming over and getting it running again.

If you are running the Banzai pulleys, the Full function idler and have AC and power steering then these are the belts you need. Fit perfectly and do not max out the alternator or idler adjustments.

I like the wrinkle black powder coat but some contrast is always nice. The Greddy Elbow looked good coated but wanted the contrast of the Greddy logo to stand out. I will work it a bit more but this is good for now.
