Ok so now that the engine is home there are a few more things needing to get sorted out before we put it all back together.
*Neaten up engine harness
*Sell turbo to purchase another turbo
*Send last few bits and pieces in for anodising
*Take side skirt extensions in to get smoothed 100% and sprayed gloss black
*Fit repaired V2 controller as the screen got repaired
*Do boot setup
*New Boost pipes in Aluminium
*New Downpipe
*Mount smaller catback with titanium back box for clearance
*Install longer studs on rear hubs to run spacers
*Spray windscreen wiper arms black
*Spray rain tray black
All of the above has to get sorted out soon minuss the boost pipes etc. My father is currently on a trip so have to wait for him to come back home to put the motor in. He is flying Guns N Roses around on tour for a few months. He comes back first week of feb then goes back end of Feb as the pilots rotate every few weeks
Some pics he sent me and that I found online
Arriving in haneda Tokyo
Arriving in Wellington New Zealand a few hours back

OK the next big thing to tackle will be this boot
Now with the big brakes up front I cannot use the stock spare wheel. So I have an 18inch wheel in the boot. I got a vinyl cover made for it and will get the SSR wheels logo put on there. A bit of an eye sore and in such a crap position in the boot but oh well.
Next thing is where to mount the 2x 3 gal air tanks. The boot is very shallow. I also need to keep space to put my 10" subwoofer in. Behind the left hand side tail light in the boot is not much space due to the windscreen wiper motor hanging off the back of the boot lid which then goes in to the boot once closed but will play with a few ideas and go from there
Might mount them upwards near the strut bar or mount them hanging off the strut bar. Will have to chat to Mr Farrel soon I think.
Cant wait to get this car running and driving nicely. Need to start with my other project which is collecting dust
What do you guys think of this colour for an R33 GTR
Color is called Millenium jade off the R34 GTR Vspec2 NUR
Some of the parts collected so far

Hi guys
Havent updated the thread in ages.
So picking up from where I left off..
So got the vehicle running.
New exhaust manifold
New Turbo gt4202 ball bearing
New motor bridgeported
Re did the engine bay AGAIN
Fitted air ride suspension
Sorted out my boot installation
Put shine auto side skirts on
Fitted Momo steering wheel
Changed from front mount intercooler to V-mount setup
First pic of the car completed outside my friends business who assisted with pipework, odds and ends as well as my air ride installation
And a picture of the 2x Nitrous bottles we used as air tanks for the suspension. The theme suits the car perfectly!
Having a boost creep issue since the rebuild.. The car holds 1bar boost until 6000rpm and then it spikes to 1.5 bar boost. I think it is the exhaust manifold that I am using it is a cheap looking chinese thing
Also my twin plate HKS clutch gave up the ghost so I have ordered a new clutch for the car
There seems to be a problem with the wiring going to the Microtech x4 box. If i fiddle with the one plug that goes in to the box the idle changes immediately and when pulling off or on light throttle the car jerks and hesitates, AFR's are at like 22 while the car is misfiring and once over a certain rpm it drives fine and AFR's go back to normal.
Below is a dyno sheet from when I got it sort of tuned
In the process of selling a 4 rotor FD as well as a BMW M6 with a 6 rotor motor.
Owner of the vehicles passed away late last year and asked me to be the agent in selling his vehicles.

Hi guys,
Been a minute since posting here!
The 4 rotor rx7 was sold, and then raced in a not very well organised event in Lesotho. Car lost control and took out a photographer who passed away unfortunately!
Car got repaired and sold to a very well known car guy in Maputo, Mozambique. Car is running well and being used for what it was built for!
Here is a video of it running in Mozambique:
On to my Rx7...
Car has just come back from a full respray.
I have also fitted a Re Amemiya N-1 S copy front bumper. I am also awaiting the arrival of a Re Amemiya rear diffuser with vortex generators should arrive sometime next week.
We have recently re done our entire garage having to raise the roof in order for a 2 post lift to go in the double garage. It is around 95% complete at the moment. Just have to sand blast the lifts arms and re paint and install them as we bought a used lift however we refurbished the entire thing.
Floor has since been completed.
Once the lift is functional we can then go about dropping the front subframe in order to get access to our leaky oil pan. Once that has been sorted out i need to take out my turbo kit and get rid of it. Looking at getting a new better designed exhaust manifold as I was experiencing alot of boost creep over 7000rpm with the setup I have currently.
Will be downgrading the turbocharger as well from a GT42 to a GTX3582r or the gtw3884 from Garrett.
Need to buy a 60mm Tial wastegate as well. Would like the car to be more responsive as I only drive it on the street and to and from shows.
Going to be a bit of a mission as we are also currently rebuilding an R33 GTR in to new condition with a forged motor and plenty of other tasty bits and pieces,
Some pics of the car after respray
