Ratios and what its done to it in terms of treatment
And the stronger mainshaft
Ratios are
1.96
1.51
1.20
1
0.719
Final gear..debating between 4.44 and 4.77.. probably will go with a 4.44 as I will need one less shift than the 4.77
All parts received libertys special treatment and it should last a lot of beating with the torqueless 13b lol

I havent updated this thread in a while. Anyhow heres some status update
the engine was rebuilt because of a coolant seal failure. it received a nice street port as well as some aftermarket seals (Thanks Roan, for the RXparts seals)
and most importantly, a frensh engine bay paint .. it really looked terrible
Was never a fan of the OMP or the Block of plates. so i ended up welding since everything was out

Chassis and engine harness were redone. All sensors/wiring were integrated in the actual harness so no wires are visible
I couldnt stand the oem line.. all my lines were converted into hardlines with AN fittings except from this one. since the rear iron was out, i pulled the stock nipple, and threaded an AN fitting

putting everything together

Some Interior/ Defi ZD monitor mounted
i custom fabricated this defi ZD mount. if i were to do it again i could have probably not installed the boost gauge next to it. Overall very happy with it.. MOST importantly, the ZD monitor has a clock. yay great success haha

stealth methanol tank.
i custom built a 316SS methanol tank. based on material properties this is the only stainless steel (if memory serves anyway) that will be corrosion resistant against methanol

Battery solution
Lithium Battery cells combined together
I figured that since configuration works (4cells instead of 8) i had to find a mounting solution for the battery. initially i thought it was best to put it under the passenger seat (battery is only 4cm high around an inch and a half for the imperial friends )
instead i figured, since i have a few spirit R footrests laying around to give it a go.
initial mock up
spice everything up with some carbon
safety first, we dont need any more fires. circuit-breaker

Next step is to install the hood.. the plan with the hood has changed unfortunately. i ordered an AD9 hood from Re-amemiya (Yes genuine)
I ordered a carbon cover for the passenger airbag, also from Re-amemiya
and an aluminum power steering tank again, from RE-amemiya
Ended up making a 315x20mm Rear rotor brake kit using with oem Mazda brackets
Cusco roll cage was repainted (same cusco blue color) and installed

you can order re-amemiya parts from a dealer or an exporting agent such as rhdjapan. I ordered mine from a shop in cyprus who gets jdm parts directly all the time.
the red and the white are two different cars. both mine. the red is a 2002 Type R bathust, and the white one is a 2001 Type RB Bathurst the red was destroyed a couple of years ago in a fire

Thanks for the rhdjapan tip. I've not previously heard of this place.

i dont deal with them anymore as the way they handle business sucks. i was one of their best customers until 2007-2008 but they screwed me over. ordering a hood from them should be ok.
