poor dealings with driftfcbuckey
I payed for extended ball joints and inner rods from buckey on august 02 of this year. sent him 200$ through paypal. After waiting about 1 month for my parts to arrive i still had received nothing, i contacted him and at that point he said he would be sending the parts out within a few days. another few weeks went by and i still had not received anything. i contacted him again and at that point he said he had gone through a rough patch and that he was going to remove them from his car asap and send them out, that was on october 2. I waited until the 15th of october before i tried to contact him again, at which point my texts were not going through to him and he was not responding through facebook or online through this forum.
I really wish it didnt have to come to this post however i have been waiting on parts now for for months, and the money that i sent him has been received. I know hes going through a tough time which may account for this however i need the parts that i ordered or the money back.

hey just as an update i still do not have parts or my money back. he did tell me he was taking the parts off his car and sending them out. that was a little over 2 weeks ago. as far as i know shipping should only take 1 week.

Well after months of waiting I had to go out and order the balljoints through abercrombie who has been more then helpful, and having previous transactions with him It's safe to say ill actually receive my parts. Anyways buckey when you read this ill take a refund of the 200$ I sent you I'm not interested in waiting on those parts anymore I can't do it.

As far as banning me goes, and all the people posting who do not know me, or what I'm about, the things that should be looked at are:
Have I sold anything on RX7Club with these issues? no, i dont use the forums for that. I use the forum to keep a build thread updated hoping its of help to others in the future.
Do i currently sell parts to people? Yes, and that won't change. It's my business, and I my hobby. I prefer to see these parts get back into the community as opposed to winding up in scrap yards, and 10yrs from now we all pay even more "tax" on said parts to acquire them.
Am I human? Yes, Much like everyone else, I make mistakes too.
Considering the volume we sell on a daily basis it is 100% possible to make a mistake and not ship something as horrible as that is, it has happened before and still happens from time to time. My GF, Business partner, and myself are the only people making this happen. We make mistakes.
Could I have taken care of this sooner? Yea possibly.
Do I feel the need to explain why it couldn't have been taken care of sooner on a public forum, to a million people I dont know on a personal level? No I do not and I will not.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for the mods who have contacted me PRIVATELY to discuss these issues at hands. Alex helped me make sure to take care of another customer a few months back and for that I'm extremely grateful for his help (despite it being solely to ensure the customer got his items)
I have had hundreds if not thousands of sales over the past few years. I have tons of people who can post up and vouch for what ive sold them, time it took to receive, etc.
In an effort to learn from past mistakes, We are trying to focus more so on Ebay Sales. It never was, or Will be my intentions to "rob" anyone of any money, or parts... However I can not change Laws, and I can not change the past, but what I can do is continue to move forward, and progress my business, and learn to cater to customer service a little bit better, and I think as time goes on it will show.

That being said, there are some things you need to understand.
This stopped being a "private only" matter the moment a moderator had to step in and make sure that you delivered what someone paid you for. We need to act to ensure that buying and selling here is as safe as possible. I'm sure you understand that. We have rules here. They need to be followed. You did not follow them.
As far as you not feeling the need to explain yourself to the world, I get that too. But let's think about this now.....would you have to be in this position if you took the initiative and explained privately to your buyers during this time??? Communication is king. Without it nothing happens. Its obviously your choice but future customers could benefit from some explanation. Give it some thought.
You say that selling is your business. I understand. Being that it is your business, you should be a paying vendor here. We require this of all businesses that sell here, and it is unfair to them that another business would be allowed to sell here for free.
I am glad that you're OK and that you posted in an apparent effort to make right. But understand three things for me:
1-you will not be allowed to sell here until all previous transactions are made right.
2-you won't be allowed to sell here until your business signs up as a vendor.
3-mods are not required to contact you privately. I was fine with letting Alex address this, as he is one of the best moderators here and is definitely trusted. But for whatever reason you decided not to play ball. Courtesy was extended to you and you blew us off. You don't get to do things this way and then come back and try to set the terms under which this forum will address what has happened. If I can be of ant help in assisting your work to resolve things with your currently waiting customers, I am happy to do what I can, but don't come back here with this kind of chip on your shoulder and expect it to work....its been tried before and does not end well.

As ive said I do not, and will not sell here. I have never sold anything on here yet even when I used to try. It is such a complete headache attempting to post FS threads here and by the time they do get approved they are 3 pages back already. If you will kindly re-read my previous post it says that. I do not wish to be a vendor. I do not wish to sell things here.

To my best of knowledge the only two customers I had issues with were Kiku, and James.
They were sold items from other social media realms and brought that here. Understandably I agree with what they did, however that is not to be confused with thinking I sold them parts from your website. If you look through all my posts over the last 6yrs or so you will see all my posts either in the drifting section, or 2nd gen pic section. I'm only here because I enjoy seeing other cars, and gaining ideas for my own, and sharing the knowledge I've learned over the years with everyone if it helps them.

Who sold their HKS Mani in here? Or listed their FC parts thread? You've had several fs threads here, some of them did indeed sell here. Yet you tell me now to read your post again? Maybe you should take your own advice Buckey.
Bottom line, you've done wrong. Whatever happened, you needed to handle it right and you chose not to. And lying to me now, telling me to read your post again, these things hurt your case. I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt....and this is what you do with that?
At the end of the day, whether you sell on here or not, chances are good that your target audience is still on here anyways....so choosing not to explain yourself will only hurt your sales no matter where you list your parts. But that's your choice. I would urge you to be more honest with us though....because you are not showing any reason right now why anyone should buy from you.

Just noticed buckey complaining on this forumabout something to do with an fd shell he bought......still haven't received a dime from him. Karma works in mysterious ways

Look above you, genius....I didnt defend him in any way. I took him to task, as did other moderators, to try to get this resolved. Problem is, as you have already shown elsewhere that you clearly dont bother checking the rules here, the transactions with buckey like the one in this thread took place outside of this forum completely. As such, we cannot force him to do anything. Even so, we have still kept on him to get resolution for others even when the deals were done off of this forum. Thats more than damn near any other car forum does, jack.
It is not my fault or problem that you cannot read or understand either the rules here or moderator instruction. One of those instructions is that the decisions that mods make are not up for public discussion or cheap shots like this. You want to be a smartass? Cool....now go find a new forum to do it on because you are no longer welcome on this one.
