Luke, you are mistaken, we did speak over the phone and when I have time I will go back into my phone records with my carrier and get the call date, time and duration for you. Also you were right I did find 10 emails in my Spam/Junk folder from you, but my new phone must be having issues as they showed up as all the exactly the same email.. Regardless as I stated before I just want to resolve this & seeing as I am unable to find your tracking receipt & with the shipping store I sent through being completely unhelpful we will need to discuss reimbursement details. Please respond to the email I am sending you with your reimbursement details and we can get this taken care of.

Oooooh... NOW you recall it was sent through a "shipping store", but before you sent a (fake) receipt you had from the USPS direct. I get it. You need a 3rd party to try and put the blame on so you continue to "look good" to the mods and can keep ripping people off when opportunity presents itself.

I don't think you are an out and out scammer - sure you've had some good dealings... but it seems to me if you have the opportunity to keep someone's $3000 without repercussions, you will.

I really hope the mods see through this BS.

Luks - don't let up. Honestly at this point, just press through with legal action. Any cost to do that you can recoup from him in the process... and big thumbs up to everyone on the forums. Sounds like there are a few other stories about this guy that didn't see the light of day.

EDIT: Ah, ****, **** ****... Sorry mods! I jumped back into this on Page 2 and didn't see the warning. If Infraction City it is for me. I understand. But this just really gets my blood boiling. Stealing... and from a Kiwi no less!

/\/\..

you have a point, where ANY transaction should be Thoroughly documented and records kept of such.
..and this case, this is exactly WHY they should be.
You just never know what will happen from POINT A to POINT B and all info should be kept until the item is in hand.

TIP: I mark my Receipts with the Item that it pertains to,so I know what is what.
I save ALL Correspondence, and try to stay away from phone calls(unless I really know the people I deal with) and Save TEXTS.( I put the guy's contact info in and SAVE it on my phone).

anyways,Lets see how this Progresses.
There is a lot of money to be accounted for here,so hopefully it can get resolved quickly.

Delivered and received April 1st

Selling a complete 13b Dry Sump Front Cover setup from Mazdaspeed.
Comes complete with Front Cover/Pump assembly(distributer-less), dual v-belt crank pulley setup, trigger wheel w/mount & sensor(for use with Motec, Haltech, Adaptronic, AEM, Electromotive, MS4, etc)
pick-up tubes with screens/o-rings & dry sump oil pan/plate with all hardware. Whole assembly has very low miles and is all in excellent condition.
Originally cost ~$5k for everything. Save some money and get a complete setup.
Im asking $3500 received for everything. Prefer local cash pickup in So-Cal, but may ship at buyers expense.”

What I received…

Missing parts are,
1. 1 pick up tube O-ring (of all things)
2. Dual V-belt crank pulley set up
3. Trigger wheel
4. Trigger wheel sensor
5. Trigger wheel sensor mount
6. Dry sump oil pan ( agreed not to send as it was apparently a Custom RX8 dry sump plate, yes RX8, didn’t know the ProJay typhoon semi pp fit an RX8 engine ^^)

David Eppinger claims none of these missing parts were mentioned, when in fact I asked 2 emails about them to be included, and where were they? when I saw pictures of him packing the item up.

After the first package went missing, David offered to send his personal dry sump cover, His 3rd dry sump cover.
So unless he has a 4th MAZDASPEED dry sump cover then he has no use for and has kept the missing parts.

On top of this the customs declaration was written Incorrectly as $4600 US dollars, so I was prompted to pay $900NZD customs fees to release.

After emailing back and forth and proving I paid USD$3250 the customs price release fee was reduced to $715NZD.

Essentially paying for an extra $1000 worth of product that wasn’t even in the box.

That brings the total to $5200NZD for me.

For what I received ..

I PAID MORE THAN THE BRAND NEW ITEM COSTS

Heres a invoice from racing beat when I was looking at a Dry sump earlier in the year.

On top of that replacement Orings only sold in pairs are stupid expensive $14-4330-4801 $28.66 USD plus shipping and conversion rates, I wouldn’t just go buy a 10C autoparts Oring.

I knew these two items (Davids set up & New from racing Beat) were gunna be around the same price.
But I chose Davids 1FAASTFD3S kit as it came in a ‘kit’ and I could recoup money by selling my aftermarket banzai pulleys, pineapple under drive and full function engineering trigger wheel kit to justify.

So now here I am chasing up Orings from Mazdatrix.

About time Luke responded as he is the one who received the dry sump 7 days ago!! And yet I have Goodfella on my *** telling me I better respond two minutes after Luke responds to this thread, 7 days after the fact. Are you joking me? Where was Goodfella 7 days ago asking Luke if he received the dry sump?

As for the price put on the customs form, A) Luke I sent you clear pictures in my email with tracking information of the package and customs form that clearly show the customs items value and information as I said I would. And B) I put that price as I was instructed to put the value at whatever it would cost to replace the item plus shipping to ensure full replacement. So I looked online and put the price ChipsMotorsports has posted on his website for the same dry sump front cover plus the $100 for shipping/insurance to New Zealand. ChipsMotorsports is the only website I could find with a price posted for the dry sump setup & it also included a picture which would only help the insurance claim if necessary. The postal worker told me to ideally find it online with the price posted on the website so it would be verifiable for insurance & a full replacement could be acquired if necessary.

Here is the link to Chips drysump kit for sale:
Dry Sump Oil System Kit - chipsmotorsports

As for the dry sump plate that is "missing". What bullshit. Luke told me not to ship the dry sump plate(as you can read in our emails) and Luke is trying to blame me for not sending it??? What an asshat. Luke who the hell ever said I pulled this dry sump off my Pro-Jay Semi-PP motor??? Yo dumb ***, that picture was from the first dry sump kit I shipped out. All this bullshit and drama & you never even fully paid for the first drysump. We agreed Id receive $3200 cash in my hand before I shipped the drysump. And you came up short because you claim you "miss judged the currency conversion & your available funds". And so it is clear to everyone YOU are the one who suggested you send a bank transfer and not use Paypal so you could save yourself money(I never asked you to pay any other way than Paypal).

Now as for the multiple drysumps. Yes I had 3 drysump setups. What is it to you? You have no clue what I have, what Im building, who I know or what I do. Just because you bitch and moan about rubbing two nickles together to buy 1 basic oil safe high temperature o-ring. And all this after Ive paid to ship you (2) $4500 dry sump setups and never received full payment from you in the first place.

As for the other parts, check out the pictures I sent to Luke via email before I shipped the dry sump to him. Interesting how everything in his recent pictures that he is bitching thats all I sent him looks exactly like the pictures I sent to him via Email before I shipped them out. I sent you exactly what I said I would, what I sent you pictures of, what you knew I was sending you and what you were supposedly so "grateful for". Now 7 days after you receive it all you want to try and throw me under the bus? LMFAO Whats your game Luke??? Makes me seriously wonder if you actually received the first dry sump I shipped you. You knew how busy I was during the Christmas & New Years holiday season with family, work and traveling. I communicated all that to you to keep you updated as to the dry sump initially taking some time before I was able to get it shipped out, dispite your lies to the contrary. I always replied to your emails. It may have taken me a couple days sometimes, but I responded. With your love of drama & knack for bullshit I honestly wouldnt be surprised if you used the tracking receipt being misplaced as a way to possibly talk yourself into getting your money back..

Here is our email correspondence starting with most recent first & you can read & see it all for yourself good fella..

On Apr 5, 2015, at 6:45 PM, 1Faast <1faastfd3s@gmail.com> wrote:

Luke,

The dry sump setup I sent you was off my personal race motor as I already explained via email. We discussed this before I removed it & I shipped it to you. None of those separate pieces were on my motor nor was it ever mentioned, pictured or were you told that any of that would be included when I told you Id ship you my race motor dry sump. The Mazdaspeed O-rings are over the counter high temperature oil o-rings & are certainly nothing special. The o-ring on the pickup tube wasn't even purchased from Mazdaspeed.
Its been 5 days since you received the dry sump, so Im actually surprised you haven't mentioned anything on the forum yet.

You don't remember your original for sale thread?

Those things were listed in the for sale .

Have a look at it.

Also No I would have to buy the original mazdaspeed orings .

Mazdatrix quotes them at $28USD for 2 . Not inc shipping .

Totally fine if you don't remember any of this . It will be reminded to you on the forum .

Luke Manson.

Luke,

Ok so you received the dry sump, thats great news. Tracking shows it was delivered 5 days ago and I haven't heard anything from you nor have you posted anything on the thread you started so was wondering what was going on..
What pulley and trigger wheel are you talking about Luke? I sent you pictures of everything I had and that was included and no trigger wheel or pulley was ever referred to, mentioned or spoke of. Also aren't you using your stock FD pulley & wheel? As for the O-ring, thats a cheap consumable part & can be purchased at almost any auto parts store.

The Original and ONLY question still stands,

Why didn't you ship the Oring, pulley wheel, trigger wheel ,trigger sensor mount and trigger sensor?

It might cost two nickels for an Oring , but I've already paid you for it.

and as you guys said he went quiet after payment.
You obviously were quick to update initially, but yet no follow up like you said you would. I went quiet for 2 hours on a Friday night! I was out. Then you go and file a paypal dispute a few hours after you send payment. Why dont you confirm that you recieved as described for everyone???

Im terrible because you got your items a little slower than you anticipated? So you jump the gun and create drama because you are paranoid. What kind of service do you expect lowballing me. Overnight shipping. Even Amazon sellers get a week + to ship their items out, but you're probably bitching about that too. Oh but you got a great deal tho! Get lost & stop stiring up drama. I wouldnt deal with you again either..

Had issues? Lmao ya, you are issues alright. You ask me to hold something for you for a month cuz you dont have the money but still want a deal and I do that for you, but then the next day after you send payment you file a Paypal claim?? Wtf? Thanks alot for the faith. You could have just waited for me to get back to you like I did with the tracking #. And did you get exactly what I advertised? So what was the issue exactly besides you freaking out for nothing, jumping the gun and causing issues with Paypal? Oh and you are sure if you didnt break my ***** the day after you sent payment I wouldnt have sent it? Exactly why I told you I wont be selling anything to you again & you apologized and asked me to not ruin our selling relationship as you wanted more deals from me. Lol No thank you. Dont want money that bad to deal with guaranteed drama.

Normally I would try, but there is so much bs to address in this thread. Maybe you have the hour + it takes to pull together the emails, host pictures, provide image links, and type out and address all the bullshit that is stacked in this thread with evidence from your Iphone while doing a million other things, but I rarely find that kind of time. And the only person its gone bad for is me so ya I will take as long as I need to ensure the package wasnt returned or somehow delivered, but you better believe when it didnt show after the timeline I was given to wait that a reasonable return could take from NZ I contacted Luke directly and handled the situation at my own expense. Who the hell knows where that first drysump went save for maybe Luke..

LMFAO. Uh ohhhh. You found me out!!!!! STFU! I always keep all my receipts, but thats why its called misplacing. It likely fell out of my pocket with my pulling my keys, phone, change, business cards etc from my pocket. As for that clutch, lmao. Contact the international buyer. He got his clutch. International shipping is not worth the hassle when you are dealing with impatient f#^ks. Which is why I wont ship international anymore. Just as everyone else did! So like I said, STFU!

Stick with the police. They will come through for you in the end. I had a similar situation years ago and although it took a little while - dude was arrested *by the FBI*. I didn't end up getting all my money back, but justice was served.

This is 100% a scam in progress. Who DOESN'T keep the receipt for a $3000 item in good shape? What if there had to be a warranty claim? Can't do that without the receipt.

Additionally, who takes a photo and cuts out the date intentionally (100% it's intentional) AND tries to disguise the tracking number. If he couldn't read it, you couldn't read it and he knew that. Now that it's determined this indeed was a fake receipt in order to throw you off the track for a bit - there is ZERO proof of this being shipped.

Also, this isn't the first time he's tried this with an International buyer:

Talk to your bank. Talk to your local police. Talk to the police in Los Angeles. Talk to a private investigator in Los Angeles - they can dig up an immense amount of info on him AND Ms. "Harlow.Karrie@yahoo.com". Suck everyone around him into this. Contact his parents. Contact his wife/fiancees/girlfriends parents. Contact his boss. Contact her boss. Stay on it and stay on message and they will get him.

Don't focus on e-mails responded to or not - you have all the proof you need - focus on transactions and failure to act on his part.

You'll get him in the end.

It was always sent from a shipping store dumb ***. Read the emails Luke posted. And if I wanted to not ship him another dry sump I would have been perfectly within my right as I shipped him one already and he bought used as is & wanted it shipped so he assumed the liability of it being damaged or lost in shipment. I just wanted to do the right thing for the guy like I would have liked done for me. With this jack asses(Luke) "gratefulness" though it makes it difficult to justify why I bothered, save that I dont let dumb *** peoples actions dictate mine so luckily he was dealing with someone who wouldnt leave him high and dry.. Ive had plenty of instances on this forum with many high dollar items that were damaged, incorrect, missing hard parts or outright fraud & never received resolution nor any help from any forum moderators or admins..

Aside from all of the other recent posts that really just muddy the waters, 1faastfd3s please address the post above that I quoted^

I know you aren't going to understand this - as your actions and ensuing tantrum have shown the type of person you are... but here it goes:

Do you really think the problem is with all these other people? Or could it possibly be the way you do business, treat people and talk this internet tough guy bullshit causes these issues?

In almost every negative feedback you've gotten; the "other guy" says you've gone silent, not provided tracking and/or took weeks to ship something / didn't ship everything promised... and your response is: "I've kept in touch with you", "my email sent it to spam" and/or "you are mistaken".

How is it that the same issue happens with all these different people - even from different sides of the globe - but you are never in the wrong? I'm not going to play Internet doctor, but do yourself and those around you a favor and Google "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" (NPD).
