TheRacingStore.com - Ripoff Beware!
Purchased a full front brake kit ($695) from TheRacingStore.com out of Orlando FL. Spoke to Tony about the differnt options, assured me items would arrive in 2-3 weeks. Super excited since items were going to arrive before Christmas.
I really wanted this kit, and I waited hoping that they were just backed up. But now I get no answers from Tony, just his voice mail.
Repeated phone calls, with no response or resolution.... I'm disputing the charges.
Seems like other members have had luck with TheRacingStore.com, so buyer beware!

Tony called yesterday to inform me my kit was ready to ship today, so we'll see how long it takes, I still have an open charge dispute with my credit card, which I won't retract until I get my items.... and they are correct.

Tony sounds like a nice guy, for that reason I didn't bash him. He did explain that aerospace was late with his orders. A simple phone call or email would have put my mind at ease.

Well.... a week has passed and no items, just excuses. Lots of promises of call backs and email follow ups, definately not a man of his word.
If you do decide to deal with Tony (TheRacingStore.com) you it at your own risk.

Tony emailed yesterday that he was out of the country tending to personal matters, said my items where going to ship today, I even got a USPS genrated tracking email.
I replied to Tony yesterday expressing my feelings on his customer service. Also to notify him of the pending credit card dispute I opened on this transaction. How I would continue the dispute if the items where not shipped today.
Tony replied today, explaining 90% of his customers are dealers and oversea speed shops, and that my order was bundled with other larger orders. How they understand that these items are custom made, and it will take whatever time it takes to produce items. Told me not dispute the charge, he was going to issue a full refund for the items. Refund or not I was getting my money back.
The part of his email that upset me the most, he NEVER had the courtecy to email or call like HE said he was going to do. 30 whole days passed and zero contact, until I called to see what happened to my order. I might not be a speed shop or dealer, but I am a paying customer. I probably would have understood had he communicated it. Instead he lied about shipping items, and most likely didn't intend to ship my items today. The reason for the refund.
Unless you are "Speed Shop" or "Dealer", don't bother with TheRacingStore.com and Tony. He'll take your money, and ignore your order for months.
