The difficulties with excess aluminum oxidation in throttle bodies & intercoolers can be mitigated. But it might be more helpful to offer some particulars as to the "Why & How" of the Problem.

I would imagine that there are several ways to mitigate the oxidation. The Easiest would be to attach a Magnesium "Sacrificial Anode" to the Intercooler & throttle body if they are not grounded together adequately.

I have a Mercruiser active Anode setup on my Marine Jeep Aluminum Boat. They seemed to work well in concert with the Outdrive Zincs.

Haven't checked recently but have had a similar WI system installed for some time without similar issues.
