Sydney Cruise to broke!!!
Hey guys,
I've organised a cruise starting from the sutherland shire, heading out to penrith panthers and then heading out to broke via putty road.
I've posted the following on ausrotary, ozmazdaclub, ae86.com, and nissansilvia.com.
If your interested just show up. Some ppl are staying overnight but most are doing a day cruise. If you want to stay overnight let me know as i have a few spots left and or i can give you info on where to stay.

Hey guys I’m tyring to organise a cruise from THE SHIRE to BROKE via “PUTTY ROAD.”
The cruise will not happen for another 2 months (looking at Saturday 20 September.) but I’m posting this and letting people know now because I am trying to organise and work out how many numbers there will be, meeting points, ECT.

With your name, your car, the area you are from and any suggestions you have on what we can add to the trip.
Please understand that I need to work out the finer details with people before I put down times and a date yet. The following is only a ruff draft of the route and some info.
Putty Road starts at Windsor, and runs due north for 170 km to Singleton in the Hunter. Thirty kilometres south of Singleton, take a right turn, signposted Broke/ Cessnock, for a beautiful 16 km drive through vineyards to Broke, the western gateway to the main wine-producing areas.
The road surface is unreal and the corners and sweepers were created with a real driving experience in mind.
It's a pretty good and challenging couple of hundred K’s of drive, with some fun cornering thrown in. A lot of them are double apex and visibility is not great but ok so drifting should be fun.
From the shire it’s a good 3 hour and 20 minute drive via putty road to broke to so it will a nice cruise but will take all day. Lunch will be held in a park at BROKE so we’ll have enough time revive and then make our way home.
The DATE and all times are yet to be determined but it’s about 2 months away. (Looking at Saturday 20 September)
People from the shire will meet up at SHARK PARK. Depart at: 9 to 9.30 am and will take the following route.
We will head for the nearest park or reserve and have lunch there. Address of park will be updated at a latter date…
We will have a half way stop which is also yet to be determined.
And we will also stop at the HALFWAY ROADHOUSE to let everyone meet up again before we hit putty road.
Depending on how people feel we can take the same route back home or the quickest way back to Sydney is via Cessnock (turn right at the end of Broke Road), West Wallsend and Freemans Waterhole to the F3 (38 km); it’s then a 112 km run back to the F3/Pacific Highway/Pennant Hills Road junction at Wahroonga.
“Putty Road,” is extremely popular for long cruises, on a great stretch of road esp. for the motor bikers and car enthusiasts. Due to a recent fatality on the road the police are patrolling it quite often in unmarked cars and bikes so it’s up to you on how you wish to take the putty road. Don’t say I didn’t warn you though.
Walkie talkies are advised if people wish to play silly buggers.
I will also try and organise a scout to go ahead once we reach putty road to make sure the way is defiantly clear for everyone.

Hey everyone it's Adam Camilleri, and yes the cruise is definatly going ahead!
mark it down for saturday 20 september.
For ppl near the sutherland shire (where i'm from) we'll be meeting near shark park in woolooware at 1 of the car parks there. we'll be aiming to leave at 9.30 so try and get there around 9ish.
from there the shire ppl will be heading to penrith panthers to fuel up and meet up with various other ppl from sydney.
we'll be expecting to get to panthers world of entertainment at about 10.15 and looking at leave at around 10:45.
Its you to you where you would like to meet up with us.
The next stop should be at the The Halfway Roadhouse Putty / Singleton Road, Howes Valley.
from there we'll regroup and refuel and maybe eat if need be and head out to broke from putty rd.
We can either have lunch at the halfway roadhouse or at one of the parks in broke. we'll work that out at a latter date.
I am suggesting that everyone does bring food and drink with them. Also if they wish to communicate with other drivers on the day bring walkie talkies and we'll work out a band on the day.
I also only have a few spots left for those who wish to stay the night in broke and do a night cruise or pub crawl with some of the locals from up there. Jess aka mz_s15 from ns.com and a few of her friends from the area are keen on meeting up with us all.

MX6.com and a few other websites are having a sydney+act joined meet in woolongong on the 21st, im not sure which other websites it was mentioned on but i think ozmazda, which i am not a member of, was one of them.

I've organisied a cruise to BROKE via putty road for saturday 20 september. leaving shark park around 9.30 and heading to a second meeting point at penrith panthers. (i don't know that area so we'll meet in one of the car parks somewhere there. ( if anyone has any suggestion of which car park that would be cool.) for everyone out west and those who can't make the shire.
got ppl from asurotary, ozmazda, ozmazdaclub, ae86, rx7club, rx7city, fdowners interested in coming along.
This is just for a fun drive for those who enjoy their cars. under no circumstances will "HOON" driving be tolerated so please don't be a tool.

Jess aka mz_s15 is keen on meeting up with a few ppl who are staying the night and either taking us for a night cruise through newy or hitting the ****. but also take into consideration that we will be driving home the next day.
there are a number ppl (about 30_ who are doing the day trip and about 13 that are staying overnight.
