E85 Timing map (haltech ps1000 primarily)
Hello my rotary friends!
Going to the dyno in 2 weeks with my RX7-T2 and i am going to run e85 premixed with benol or triboron, Got enough fuel and turbo for 400rwhp and my ignition system consists of AEM smart-coils, MSD wires and BR9EIX spark plugs, FFE trigger wheel.
Engine is stockport S4.
Thing is i would like some help with a nice timing table and split table for my application, i know that its gonna need tweaking when on the dyno but something to start with.
I want it to be rather safe as i prefer not to go to agressive on timing since it feels pretty useless in a rotary but i think e85 could use some more timing then regular fuel?
My tuner also gave me a heads up that e85 on the street sucks since it will flood easy and cause all kind of troubles but i cant see why? I want the cooling benefits and the detonation protection since its both a weekend warrior and a trackday car and my engine is not studded....
