AEM V1 Querky Issue, Unexplained Detonation and 02 Feedback Failing
67mm, 1680cc/850, walbro 400, 12 direct wired to pump, aem v1, zeitronix wideband new sensor, streetport, hks twin power, 10 range plugs, 50/50 water/meth 600cc
Been retuning the car from a 60mm to a 67mm
Had the car on the dyno, dyno dynamics, steady state tuning it, using o2 feedback. Target AFR in power band/boost at 11.2. Wideband has been making NEGATIVE corrections between 5-10% as I left the map a little rich in the power areas.
Goal is to make 20+psi, currently at 15psi / 200kpa.
On dyno, car ran great, no breakups, around 11.5afr
Take the car out to the street, breaking up like crazy and pulling a 10.5 in the powerband.
Did a datalog tonight; two very odd things.
At the beginning of 100% throttle, around 4k rpms, AFR spikes to 16-17 for 1 second then starts dropping normally and following the powerband down to 10's.
Spike occurs at 2psi (115ka)
I have quite a bit of accelerator pump added into the map so I don't understand how/why
Secondly, o2 feedback is always working and making small corrections however, if I draw the o2 feedback during this run, its off for over 10 seconds
Does anyone else notice any strange issues like this with their o2 feedback? Or random malfunctions in the fuel curve? I have plenty of fuel in the map before the spike and after the spike.
Running 15 degrees timing across the board at 200kpa, and around 22 degrees at the range that the spike occured.
If anyone with experience would like to take a look at my map/log in detail please you help would be appreciated!
