That must be the one Goblin is talking about in the other thread here. That would be great if someone could find that. I'd really like to do as much reading as possible before I make a decision on the AEM unit.

250 page tuning manual

I'm seriously considering buying and AEM unit too. I've read through the EFI Basics manual (and all other documentation I downloaded from the AEM website)and it doesn't provide much detail about how the AEM systme works. It would be great if someone who already has a unit could post the 250 page manual that Goblin is talking about. That way we could make an informed evaluation of the software's capabilities and decide if we want to buy one.

Thanks,

Dan

Go to the AEM forum, go into the current downloads section, and open the first message (or, hit this link, if it works: http://www.aempower.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=2208).

Download the eight files attached to that message, saving them all to the same directory. The first one is an executable. Open the directory you saved them all to and run it. It will install the AEM software, and all of the example calibrations and manuals. The manuals are in the "Instructions" folder, I think.

Goblin,

Thanks again. It's great of you to help out your fellow FD owners. I was at their site yesterday and became a member.

Goblin,

Link worked fine. The individual files are small, so they download fast.

Thanks again!! Tom

Ehm... Ok.

It's no problem, that's what the forum is for. I can't tell you how much help I've had here (I've been here since the day it opened... Jason beat me to opening an RX-7 forum by about one day...).

Besides, I have an ulterior motive. The more people running AEM EMS's, the larger the knowledge pool for when I have questions.

Goblin,

Scratch that last post. I was over at the AEM site and am following your 'progress' thread.
