XS Engineering in H.B. Ca.
I need to get an engine management system for my FD.
I have a street port and will have a down pipe but thats about all I plain to do. Now my engine is running incredibly rich and I really can't drive it much at all. I would like to have a management system I can program myself but don't know which is the most user friendly. I talked to X.S. engineering and they are licensed to tune using the Commander FC. Has anyone used this shop before? I still like the idea of tuning myself because I don't plain to mod much but I do need to address the rich conduction at low rpm due to low vacuum from the porting. Ideas/advice on systems would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search for Power FC
Do a search for XS Engineering
in 3rd gen section and west section.
If that's all your doing, get a used Pettit, M2 or equivilant modified CA OEM ECU ($4-500).
Mine is upgraded by Superchips, want to buy mine?

PMS should be good enough, despite its dated technology.
PowerFC you can tune yourself but need the Datalogit.
Heard great things about the LT8, but have never even seen a car around here that has had it....

XS is good they tuned my car several times and I'm happy with the results. I wouldn't tune yourself unless you really know what you are doing but if do plan to then you can use some of the ems systems the other members suggested.
