Question Wiring TPS Sensor with Microtech LT8 Harness

I finished up most of the wiring on my new harness. I replaced the ugly factory harness with a new harness from Microtech. The only thing that I'm stuck on is the TPS sensor. The factory connector has a 4 wire TPS sensor and my Microtech harness only sports 3 wires. I searched through the wiring manual to see if I can find out what each wire is but no luck. I'm guessing their must be an extra wire. I'm running a Microtech LT8S. If anybody can give me some insight it would be much appreciated.

Use the full range TPS wire.

If I only knew which one it was. How do I find out what each wire is on the TPS sensor?

engine control section of the wiring diagrams has diagrams which map the TPS wires to the ECU pins. and then there is an ECU pinout after the diagrams so you can match things up. if you're not too familiar with reading this stuff, look through the opening pages of the diagrams. it explains the wire colors and the symbols used.

Got it, thanks arghx! I must of skimmed past the part in the manual. Just for reference this is the break down.

G/R >>> Narrow Range
BR/W >>> 5.0V
BR/B >>> Ground
B/G >>> Full Range

So you don't even use the narrow range then huh?

the narrow range won't be used, no. those types of sensor signals, along with closed or open throttle switches, are mostly used in OEM systems designed in the 80s.
