Wideband in the Stock O2 bung?
I'm planning on getting the Uego kit. I realize the stock location is a hot place for the Wideband sensor, but that this can be overcome with a heatsink on the body of the sensor. Does anybody have any pictures or writeups or advice on doing this? I'd like to use the stock location since I won't need to the stock sensor with the widebands +5V output to the ECU.

Connecting the wideband's 0-5V signal won't work since, among other reasons, the stock ECU is looking for 0-1V. Some wideband units have a narrow-band output that can be used for this purpose, however.
A heat-sink on the O2 sensor won't work either. The temperature of the sensor in the exhaust stream is what you're concerned about and even if you could add a heatsink there, I doubt it would do any good. A heatsink on the body of the sensor will eventualy reach the same temp as the downpipe it's attached to, rendering it useless.
That said, I've run my WBO2 sensor in the stock location with no ill effects. If you're willing to deal with reduced sensor life, you shouldn't have any problems. The reading will be a little off due to the high temps, but I'd guess only by 0.1AFR or less. I eventually added a second bung to my downpipe where the WB sensor is permanently mounted. FWIW, this is what I recommend doing.

What I meant was +1V signal that the controller outputs, my bad. What kind of life can i expect from the stock location? I'll probably keep it there while i have the twins, then when i go single, I'll put it in the new downpipe.

I know with my wideband having the sensor in the stock location caused it not to work all together. It got too hot after a short time and the wideband unit started throwing 'over heating' errors. (Running stock twins non-seq). I plan on mounting it down further near the midpipe/downpipe flange. There it a pretty good spot to mount it there where it will be in an almost verticle position which is what you want as well.

I would mount it on the downpipe, but much farther down than the stock location. I have mine mounted about 2 inches away from the downpipe/midpipe junction at the 12 o'clock position.

Just get someone to weld a nut in there or somethin and put a short bolt in the stock location? I guess I could do that. Damn I hate putting the downpipe back on, though

Attached is a pic of my WBO2 bung. It's at the end of the DP at the 10:30 position. This allows it to clear the air pipe going to the cat and also allows for easy removal with an open-ended 22mm wrench. I drilled a 1" hole and took it to a local welding shop. The bung is stainless-steel and only costs $5.

Doesn't look too bad... Hell, maybe i'll even use both O2 sensors...AEM looks like it can do it. I have no cat or air pipe, so that's not an issue. Maybe I should do it at the front of the midpipe? Since I'll be changing downpipes at some point, i assume.
