Whats this?

What is this blue connector, This is under my shifter panel, grouped together with all the wires that go to the fog lights, overheat exhaust warning, and stuff, is it suppose to be connected somewhere or is it suppose to be loose?

It's probably for something like foglights, rear washer, or one of those non-US widgets.

something only availbale on non-us version cars... Mazda puts universal harness in and then just hooks up what is needed for that version. But any of this is just a guess.

this is correct it just plugs into your blank space for another switch if needed inbetween the rear defrost and fog lights. nothing big. there should be a place for it to plug into that blank space i believe. that should keep it outta the way

My 93 touring has it, my son's 93 R1 doesn't. My car is a AT to MT swap but the AT shifter uses a white plug (which is now unused in my console. I agree that it's just a variation on the harness. Nothing to be concerned about.

that switch is for the Headlight Cleaner for the Canada models. You can check it out on pg Z-52 on the wiring schematic.
