What can cause bad idlea after a long drive.

I drove my 7 on the interstate and average 80-90 mph for 35 min and then when i got off the inter. i drone maybe 15 min stop and go. I get to the place everything is fine. I decided to leave and soon as i started the engine . idle is going from 600 - almost 0 and stalled once. I started it right back up and it would idle lumpy and then smooth out, but still have a idle of 600. It felt like it had lost some omph. I let it cool down for 2 hour started off lumpy for a few sec. Then was fine heading back on the interstate. I hit 130 on the way back, just to see if it's all there. Anyone else with these problems. I have no temp guage except stock
