Turbo simplification Help
I need some opinion from you guys. I got a rx7 3 month ago as a project car. My goal is a 400 to 450hp streetable weekend car. My car is basically stock right now. except for a petti downpipe. I just ordered some vacuum hose and block off plate to do the Turbo simplification. but i just spent the last couple days reading the forum and studying the simplification diagram. I heard that it is not recommended to take off all the emission devices before i got a stand alone ecu like PFC and a mid pipe. also I want to go with single like gt35/40r. So do you guys think i should even do the simplification? or i should just save up the money buying a PFC and full exhaust first then go with the single conversion and just leave the car like that for now? Cause I want to spend my time and money more efficiently. You know a lot of people spent too much money and time then they end up with something else. so I want to be in the right path. Thanks

MahJik you are on the forum all the time. yes my car has no boost problem, i just read the forum sticky that's one of the reliability mod. So i just considering it. Also i'm on the market for some gauges, any recommendation that will match closely with the stock gauge? I don't want to spend a grand to buy some gauges like defi. Thank Mahjik you helped me everytime

As far as gauges, IMO, just pick some that you like visually and fit your budget. I prefer the Greddy gauges for a few reasons:
1. Price
2. They have peak/hold/warning functions
3. They typically have imperial/english units of measurement
They aren't the most attractive gauges in the world, but then again my car is not for show.
