well i'm somewhat gutting my car just slightly and i was thinking about taking the bins behind the seats out, well that whole area at least, does anyone know what it looks like afterwards so i know what it'll look like for futur reference?
well the reason i'm taking them out is because i just need more room in my car they get in the way alot. and my friend left a can of spray paint in one of them and it got all over the ******* place lol. i just want to know whether or not it'll look ugly afterwards.
I took mine out once and its a bunch of sound deadening foam and that sort of thing... unless you dress it up somehow it certainly wont look pretty. If you fab up some sort of cover for the area then it could look good, but you wont be winning any car shows without anything there.
You will need to remove both door sills, 1/4 panel plastics (to remove 1/4 panel plastics, you will need to romove or loosen plastics around rear shocks). Remove rear devider, pull back rear carpet.
the rear will look like crap without the bins. I've had mine out of the car twice, once for a stereo install and again to replace the bins with bins purchased on ebay. They are easy to remove once the interior pieces and one seat is removed. If I were you i'd get replacement bins on ebay.
if you take them out then its going to look bad. if you go to a car show you will never win.
if you try to sell it most probley wouldnt wont it.
unless it looked like the car in the picture above
