Surging at 4500RPM...

First of all I read about 50 different threads about this problem and I'm trying to figure out where to start. I recently took my car into Pettit for a couple issues and had them fixed. I found out about a month later that they never hooked up the 2 solenoids in the front, wastegate and other one. The car runs like a new car but my issue is now at about 4500 rpm it surges like a couple of times then it hits full boost (10). It doesnt do it everytime, which is odd. I read a thread "Mazda: FD's compressor surge from the factory"... So now I dont know if its a factory thing or do I have a problem.

Mods: Streetport, 99 spec turbos, PFC, FMIC, I just changed the spark plugs and wires a couple hundred miles ago. Could it be an ignition issue? Where do I start?

Cam should be able to correct your problem. Sometimes tunes need a little tweak.

Well from reading a bunch of threads I figured it might be a faulty solenoid or something? The car surges sometimes in 1,2,or3 at 4500rpm right before the secondary turbo goes online...

Now yesterday I was driving around, boosting fine then I stopped turn the car off for a few then started back up and then no boost. I drove it around, tried KOKO and still nothing. It would only make like 1 in every gear. I let it sit for about an hour then everything was back to normal... Where should I start testing?
