strange rear suspension creak ??
I just did a rear suspension overhaul which involved replacing all the rear pillowballs (all 6 of them) at the same time i replaced the toe links with new solid mount versions (street fighters garage versions).
Now i have a strange creak from the rear suspension if im doing a slow tight turn (i.e if i steer full lock either direction and am im either reversing or pulling round a tight corner at say 5mph) i can hear a creaking noise (its not 1 single noise neither its like a constant creak.)
I can keep testing it by finding a car park turning say all the way left/right then driving in a circle in either reverse or forward slowly,,, cant seem to tell which side its comming from???
Ive noticed that this is the only time i can hear the noise,, under all other driving conditions no sound is heard.
Now im not expecting anybody to just throw me the answer but what i would like to know is which part of the suspension is under the most pressure when doing a tight cirlce, this should help me to pinpoint the location (i was thinking it might be something to do with the toe links).
Any ideas suspension gurus out there??
