Question stock alarm bypass via the hood pin method quick question.

so after some thorough searches i have decided the hood pin method of bypassing the stock alarm will best suit my needs; but in all the posts i read about it, they say to short the wires that come to the latch. Upon inspection i have a pair of wires to the left of the latch and a pair of wires to the right of it, which ones need to be shorted and do they have to be grounded. Any help will be much appreciated.

^ i think of that one as the sloppy why of doing it. i still would like the power locking system. you dont have to lock the passenger side and then unlocking it to let someone in.

How about just bypassing the whole thing and going with an after market one Like the Viper 791?
