Speedo broken need replacement got..???'s
Ok, so heres the deal I have little dilema here car= 1994 rx7 the speedo has been diagnosed and concluded as defective so know I need a replacement speedometer. I do have a few questions do any of you guys know if the mileage memory is built into the speedo or in a seperate module somewhere else in the car?! In saying that if I get a new speedo will my mileage get set back to 0 or if i get a used one will it be displaying the mileage of the car that it was in before? Last question..... where can I get one hopefully someone reading this will be able to hook me up with a used one if possible. I live in hawaii so I have somewhat limited resources. Thanks guys for your support.

its built into the speedometer. When you buy the speedo (about $400 bucks) you have to take it to a special shop that will set the mileage for you. I dont know that they charge.
